It used to be a strong soprano, but the ravages of time have brought it down about a half octave or more. Still, I am lucky I can sing at all. It is a blessing. A friend who also loves to sing; her lung capacity has been reduced by disease (not cancer) and she no longer has the breath to hardly talk, much less sing.
I am very happy I can sing today.
