Yesterday I tidied up the garage enough that we could fit both cars in at the same time.

The day before that I assembled a flatpack shelving unit for the garge, so that I could tidy up.

I cooked the chicken and corn I planned to have for supper, and then I took a shower instead of a bath because baths make me sleepy and I didn't feel like napping.

I put a bunch of paper products into the recycling bag, which I'll take out on Friday.

I washed out some plastic food containers and bagged them for recycling as well.

I'm brushing my teeth.

Woo-hoo. :|

i did the dishes, cleaned the sink and countertop, took the recycling out while crushing the cans and folding/disassembling the boxes, made breakfast, cleaned my desk, studied hebrew from my textbook and did a few lessons on the website, did hebrew and french listening practice, read 10 pages from my book in spanish that my mom brought from her hometown, called my dad about my stimulus check, had a few beers, worked on my masterpiece, wrote down a poem by pablo neruda translated into my conlang in my created writing system, filled out my application for medicare (strange, i don't remember turning 65), went out for a walk and bought a paintbrush, brushed my teeth, flossed, responded to some emails, created a few think emojis for discord using outlines of various countries, and backed up my phone.

If you are disabled, and one or both parents are retired or died, you can get medicare. I think, if you can prove your disability, you could collect SSDI also, based on your parents income.

Also, I think we talked about this before but if your father was in the military, - no, YOU were in the military. Don't you qualify for Tri-Care Health Insurance?

tri-care is only for military retirees/dependents. i do qualify for routine primary care/specialist office visits covered through the VA by a community provider with a $50 copay. but if i need OR or ER care, i'm pretty much on my own. that is a scary thought at the back of my mind always because it is precisely the OR and ER care which is financially ruinous and the leading cause of bankruptcy here in the land of the wage slave, home of the unfree. when trumpy was installed, one of the first things he did was start enforcing an obscure provision of PPACA which specifically excluded military veterans from coverage. so i lost my obamacare when the orange menace was elected, and along with it my tertiary coverage.
