I'm struck by the literary skill of Samantha Ellis (Take Courage: Anne Brontë and the Art of Life). Ellis' voice is authentic, witty and endearing, plus she's done impeccable research into Anne's life, which is no easy task!

I know that smiling to an NT just means hello so I'm not being a creep, I don't even mind friendly stranger zone.

Two separate women smiled at me in the course of 10 minutes when I was popping out to get lunch and one of them was really pretty.
