I initiated contact with my best friend. Social anxiety makes it extremely difficult for me to initiate social interaction of any kind, so this is very much noteworthy for me.

I found the pagr where you can apply for leave on the company's Intranet. I've been looking for months because it's not linked on the employee home page. Instead there's just this dead-end page saying after the merger (which took place three years ago) we're still building a new HR page.

There is one but tbey haven't updated the link. I really pushed myself through their unpleasantly designed website until I found the HR page linked in a help desk article. It only has normal leave. I still need to find paternity leave.

A trip to the dentist. Always an accomplishment for me. :-)

I cleaned out my cat's litter box, made chicken and potatoes for supper, and installed my air conditioner in the window in the window for the summer. It's hard to believe there was snow at the start of May but now it's like August.

Got another iron infusion, hopes aren’t high for it actually doing anything since the last three didn’t, but at least I made it through and now my mom can call my doctor and say “This doesn’t seem to be working, what now?”

I salute you! I rarely win that particular struggle.

Sewed another mask out of trouser. (I'm a hoarder. Of course I have stacks of old trousers lying around. Who's laughing now, eh? Eh?) Improved the cut on this one. I also have an idea for better nose-wire on the next one.

Just getting by yet another day with moderate/severe iron-deficiency anemia. Nothing seems to help, but at least I survived, and got one day closer to the as-of-yet-unscheduled doctor appointment to see what we’re going to try next (I suspect it will be either more of the same or a referral to a hematologist).

is that a lot, or a little?

rearranged my room today, narrowly avoiding throwing out my back. went to the food bank and picked up a bunch of food for free...went on a bike ride and got some exercise. did laundry and greeted the sheep.
