I've noticed for some time now that a lot of people don't mind video games where you go around killing people, but if you kill or harm an animal in the game they're all like NOOOOOOOOOOO!! 8O They don't even seem to be on the spectrum, they just hate seeing animals being attacked, even a big vicious dinosaur that's trying to rip the player apart.

It's been like that even when I was a kid. There was that arcade game NARC, where you could violently blow up drug dealers but not kill the savage dogs that came to maul you to death. Instead you just somehow turned them into little puppies. And Nintendo of America once censored killing animals, especially cute ones (and yet they overlooked a hamster being nuked in a microwave).

Not that I blame them. I hate it too when the protagonist deliberately harms animals (except for maybe the Mario games), even if they're a cold-blooded psychopath who brutally murders every other human in their path. But it doesn't make a lot of sense... or does it?

I usually try to be as much as a pacifist as I possibly can when I play video games.

Tired of being a Special Snowflake

Trying and failing to move forward in "life"

Counselor too reflective and not directive

Blue collar job and crime

White collar job

Collar, buttons, zipper, hood, pockets , holes

"Price of Duty," book about a man named Jake that enlisted in the. Military.

Got injured. Came back a hero

:D

Military discharge

Convenience of Government

:D

The internship gave me something to belong to

They all looked nice

:D

Internship ended early

It was supposed to be six weeks. It was only three :jester: :jester: :jester: :jester: :jester:

Now I can sleep more

No plans for the future

:jester: :nerdy:  :skull: :jester:

Loitering and panhandling

Too lazy to look for the next job

Unpaid internship

i don't believe that anyone is ever lazy. lazy is unfairly derogatory shorthand for barriers we don't understand.

Cathy Lynn

You can't measure laziness

Not everyone is equally hardworking

Sloth

Executive processing dysfunction and :jester: clinical depression :jester: could get mistaken as laziness

But it appears to me, that there is a thing  lazy :jester: :jester: :jester:

In my case, yes , I could correctly point out , racism, sexism, homophobia, personality disorders.

But hard work does not always get rewarded

Sometimes persistence is the best method. Sometimes giving up is the best method

It's a fine line

:jester:

And yes I am afraid of failure and social rejection

But whatever

Does not fully justify my grotesque slovenly demeanor

:jester:

Does the fact that I'm wrapping gifts to celebrate Emily Brontë's 200th birthday (in 83 minutes), mean I'm insane?

I celebrate Cloud Strife [a Final Fantasy protagonist]'s birthday every August, so I think you're fine.

So many people see genres as hard as diamonds, as if they can never, ever be broken. I see genres as fluid and not remotely concrete. :P

I wonder if I could pray for wealth. I wonder if it's even right to pray for wealth. I could pray that all my things sell at Art's Alive.
