Waiting for a delivery from Amazon. Why can't they give a reasonable estimate of the time it'll get here, rather than saying 'arriving by 9pm'?

Saying this in a sarcastic tone, if they did that it would be way too easy.

For about fifteen years I have been   :skull: about four inches from middle splits

Plenty of people live worse lives than me

They are homeless, disabled, injured, diseased, mentally ill, developmentally disabled, wrongfully sent to jail,

They work too many hours, they have to travel long distances to get to work, they have physically difficult work, they work in extreme temperature, bosses and supervisors bully them, they risk getting fired at any second

:D

:skull:

Feel ashamed and guilty for complaining

But whatever

Some people are skinny smart handsome cisgender white men, born to upper class parents

They are neurotypical

They did not do anything good and get that as a reward

They don't have to do anything to maintain it

Not many things feel natural

:jester: failure to adapt  is part of my personality

:| "Learning too slowly :jester: "

"Not paying attention"

All jobs involve learning and paying attention

Not an equal amount

Failure to pay attention, while working as a construction worker, and a lot of bad things could happen

Failure to pay attention while making photocopies and damage the machine :jester:

The things I need to accomplish in the next day or two, which aren't interesting whatsoever.

When I was a kid my mother would roast a chicken, then place bread in the pan juices to soak up all the fat/chicken drippings and she would give them to me and my brother to eat.
Sound disgusting?
But it was the BEST thing EVER!!

After twenty minutes of sitting on the toilet at bed bath and beyond, someone said "sits in there and reads a book".

After forty total minutes, he told me "you gotta go. You've been in there long enough".

And I left. Nobody was waiting for me

He didn't sound dramatic

A couple of weeks earlier, bed bath and beyond installed the :jester: code locked  feature.

However I have gone to the same bathroom, numerous times before , :jester: for longer than forty minutes

There are two toilets and one urinal in the men's bathroom

There are three toilets in the women's bathroom

Nobody was waiting for the toilet at any point

Nobody told me not to come back

In the current shopping center , there are plenty of toilets that are not customer only

But only three of them contain two or more toilets in the men's bathroom

Of those, one is open late in the day

And etc

The bookstore has a lot of loiterers , so precious lil "people" have had the nerve to threaten to make a complaint at the front desk

But it is a weekday, in the middle of the day

So not too crowded

Now

But it's getting harder and harder to  find bathrooms to go to  :jester: :ninja:

Two weeks ago, the Whole foods security guard asked if I spoke English

Shook my head

He said he saw me a lot and he didn't know what I was doing in there but stop it

He told me a lot of things and I didn't hear most of it

He spoke quietly and without emotion

At the end he gave me a thumbs up sign

And I returned it

So I don't know if he had the nerve to tell me never to return

Or if he had the authority to do that

But, precious lil "people" get away with a lot of things that they don't have authority to do

:jester:

"Life" is :jester: :skull: going nowhere.

Raleigh

Correct I do not have my own bathroom

Aerial cartwheel

Backflip

Kip up

:jester:

One job description said "must be comfortable with dogs"

Wtf?

The job was office clerk or something like that

Paranoid dog friendly workplaces are becoming more common

Even if the job description does not say "dog friendly", all it takes is one precious lil "person" to brin lil Fido or Rover or Spot , and it is all over

:jester:

Pummel horse

Balance beam

:ninja:

Don't belong nowhere

Don't want to do nothing all day long

Do the same thing every day

Paranoid precious lil ,"people" at bed bath beyond will bother me if I go back

But I often loiter in that mall

:jester:

Feel like I am just a public nuisance

I had imagined that any residence would have to provide bathroom facilities.

Are you homeless, by any chance?

Raleigh

No I am not homeless

Yet

Maybe later

Right now I live with someone

There is one bathroom

It is often occupied

:ninja:

The toilet does not always work, etc

Sometimes I have to or choose to leave

Today I was waiting for the counselor appointment

:jester:

In any event, this is not the first time someone had the nerve to tell me to get out of that bathroom

But the most recent time, :jester: was over one year ago

:jester:

And since then I have been to that bathroom, usually several times a week, ten to sixty hours each time

:jester:

It's just too hard to find a bathroom

If there is just one toilet, all it takes is one precious lil "person" impatiently banging on the door

Many bathrooms have hand dryers

They are loud

Sensory processing dysfunction

"Life" is going nowhere :jester:

:jester:

A job emailed me yesterday about a phone interview. And I answered. It has not gotten back to me yet. Thus far

25 hours a week. Minimum wage. Have to take the train over there.

At the local college yesterday, students from wushu were showing off  :jester:

Aerial cartwheel
Backflip
Kip up

:jester:

Put up a sign :jester:  , that said

:skull: do not try it at home, or anywhere else

:skull: those students that did backflips already could do them before wushu

:skull: results not guaranteed

:?:

Feel silent and invisible

And that is "As Good As it Gets"

Feel like gorging

I wish there was a way I could cheer my mom up, but given the image she still has in her mind of how she came home to find her beloved dog, that won't happen anytime soon. What's worse is that she blames herself for someone else's negligence.

I think I might have missed this story?    I don't know if I want to know this story, but I hope you can find some peace for yourself and your mother. It doesn't sound very good :(

I'm glad you're not homeless.
But still, you should be able to use a bathroom without being harassed, although stores probably consider them only for use by patrons.
Would they prefer you used the floor?
Crap in their beds?

Not really.
I didn't say that.

I remember when I was a kid I went with my folks to the local department store, they had a plumbing section which had a bunch of toilets on the floor as display models, and I remember peering in one and somebody had put a deposit in it :eew:
