People confuse me.
I read what people write and I don't understand it.
The more I try to understand it, the less clear it becomes.
Makes no sense.
When I ask for clarification I feel like I'm being too nit-picky.
But I want to understand.

Humans are definitely hard to understand. I keep getting confused, too.

There are so many complicated things. Can I still love, despite those things? Undoubtedly yes. Do those things make me uncertain of what to say in a message to someone? Undoubtedly yes. Do I feel unintentionally arrogant for knowing so much, and having such a different perspective from most people, and so try to make myself feel lesser? Undoubtedly yes.

^Me, too actually. Challenging to be around, that is. It's odd how I can be so generous yet so difficult to live with.

I've been wondering if I've actually attracted someone not based on who would be the best foil, but based on my habit of trying to help/teach people. Or I might just be being insecure again.

A foil is the opposite, isn't it?
I've never really thought about who would be the best foil for me.
Most people I'm drawn to are very similar to me.

Why not ramble on about yourself?

It's interesting--all of the video game, manga, and anime girls that I am attracted to are extremely similar to me [for instance, Nagisa, Sakura, Amber from Rune Factory 4, Tifa, Cloud]. I'm not sure if that's positive or negative.

We are more likely to be attracted to someone we identify with than otherwise, surely?
I think it can be positive.
It creates stronger attachment.

At times - honestly it's going to take quite a while or nine to answer that definitely but for lack of any better words I'm not a total island. Minor miracles notwithstanding I'll probably just ski until we find more common ground again, workaholism, school & technology are rough. Until we get over ourselves & chill more at least there's plenty of non-monetary green stuff around here. :mrgreen:
