am no philosopher, not even an outhouse one. all I know is what I see happening among the wealthy set. can't argue with success.

based on personal mis-experience, I would sue only the ones who did demonstrable harm. though I will admit I felt kinda sorry for the late Sylvia Browne, she goofed badly in front of god and everybody and did demonstrable harm to one group of people on one occasion at least. but she died [probably mortified] before that could happen.

betcha at least one of 'em investigated it on the down-low, and maintains a curiosity about it if not a blanket reliance.

i googled them and found astrologers commenting about gates and buffet, but not one place where either mentions it. however, in this conversation, you're more interested in keeping your beliefs intact than grappling with reality. i'm disappointed when smart people believe nonsense.

the relationship btwn astrology and riches is that astrologers are eager to take advantage of gullible rich people.

In the face of people who found it useful, legions in fact, I cannot simply dismiss it out of hand. you may think my mind is so open that stuff is falling out, but that is where I am at with this. I simply don't know enough to be able to categorically reject it as having zero value.

by and large, yes. but there are exceptions, just as there are professionals who work pro bono as often as possible, there are also spiritualists/astrologers who do likewise and who don't seek out the moneybags to fleece, if they decide to service them at all.

every time i read my horoscope, i get oodles of evidence against astrology. scientific studies have been done on groups of astrologers to see if predictions come true at a rate greater than could be attributed to chance. they don't. I've seen very smart people dismiss that robust evidence by saying that they know of a wiser branch of astrology (which happens to not yet have been tested). people are going to see what they want to see and believe what they want to believe, but i can't say as there's any consistent evidence to support those beliefs. if i had any such evidence, i would change my mind.

Put a sign on my shirt:

No spare change
No drugs
No cigarettes, no light

It gets on my nerves how precious lil "people" have the nerve to tell me "are you ok?"

If you feel justified in suspecting that I am physically injured please tell me

:jester: but half pigeon yoga poses, wheel, and goddess pose are not injuries :jester:

Please don't comment on my facial expressions or walking gait

If I don't approach you, then maybe you, too, do not approach me :skull:

Besides what if I am not "ok" then what?

Some entitled self important precious lil "people" will not shut their traps

It's like they physically can't have a thought or emotion without making a public service announcement

And they talk so loud

I forgot that I usually have pretty much perpetual sinus trouble from fall through spring, at least (and this is despite taking two different allergy medications). First sinus infection of the season starting up  Hopefully with enough decongestant and fluids I can get it to go away on its own, otherwise it's off to the doctor to get antibiotics.
