lots of them are - compazine and phenergan come readily to mind - not an unusual choice. they can, though, cause a sort of cramping called dystonia and a restlessness called akathisia. there's antidotes for that - cogentin or benedryl (diphenhydramine). prob. won't happen, but in case it does, you're prepared. thorazine is often used for hiccups.

i'm an extreme liberal. i just don't generally have extreme reactions to folks who disagree.

I even told them I prefer odansetron.
Then when I went to pick up the prescription, it was the other ones.
I ASKED why and they told me these were "better".

They said better for (my condition).
Better in that it kills me faster, in other words.
Call druggist and doctor. Describe your adverse side effects and the deterioration of your condition. Ask again for Zofran.
It's often hard to get Zofran unless you are receiving chemotherapy, but considering you've had it in the past it must be indicated. Good luck
