Grats! What are the stats?

I ignored you last time you asked me about stats. This time I will share. The distance is about 2.2 miles and tonight I ran it in 16:20. I'd like to get down to 15 mins which I think I can do in a month if I stick to it. I'm overdue for new sneaks, so a new pair should help too. :D

Ouch...I'd probably be able to do that distance in...2 days?

Sunshine and toast made me happy this morning.

Went to a cafe filled with drunks at 2am, ordered a cinnamon roll, put "It's raining men" on the jukebox and sung along with several drunk people.

Then we sang Never gonna give you up by rick astley.

It was awesome beyond words.

I will never listen to either of those songs otherwise.

I know. :? Tis ok, though. Ok, so 7:25 pace, not too bad. 6:49, it's achievable, but it'll take hard work. Make sure to put some speed work in, I think one of the best runs I've done this summer was 2.8 miles and 20:21 (so a 7:16 pace)...but that didn't mean I didn't have my share of crappy runs. Anyways, if you really want to shave some time off, there is always the option of flats. I have some from my cross-country days and I ONLY use them for hard workouts/races. They are super lightweight and fit like a glove...but they shave off about 15 seconds per mile.
