I do feel for her though even though I may see things differently as I know she does her best, even if it is in a different direction to my preferences.

I did go for a walk today and my mum came. Pulled in the car on a backroad on the way home which is not far from here and we went on a woodland walk which passed the remains of small mine workings which took place many years ago. Only were a series of small workings from the looks of it so it may well have been older workings before pumps were invented. The early workings were cell mines rather then drift or deep mines. Not much to see but for me there was quite a bit. I found a spoil heap where they tipped spoil from an old mine entrance. As the spoil was soil or clay (Though clay aas also mined out and used to make bricks in the early days before unions forced rules where a mine was only allowed to mine for one product). These mines were dug to reach the coal seams.
It is such a scenic setting. The carpet of bluebells has now given way to tall furry grasses which reach my neck in height in places which line the path edges... I was almost like a dog pushing its face through long grass in a field. The steep slope of the woodland is brill. Is an ancient woodland. I used to go there daily cuttinh through fields to reach there in my younger days. I also studied there before my school exams, usually hidden in the edge of two fields above where I could see the views of the estuary and valley below.

I called the Portland Social Security office and told an agent about a letter I received yesterday that I am no longer eligible for SSI benefits. The agent told me that because there was a mix-up, I was mixed-up with an SSI client of the same name. The agent then finished by saying I will continue receiving SSI benefits at the beginning of every month.

I was able to wash part of one of my brothers cars and had a slight energy loss, but I sat on the ground for a few minutes, recovered and I was ok. Then I washed the whole of the outside of my car and the whole of the outside of my youngest brothers car and I was ok. I was fine!
So Mitsi is clean.

A friend and I did Toastmasters business yesterday, promoting our upcoming Open House and working to improve our membership situation. It was a fun day. I met another fellow Toastmaster, who said some really nice, encouraging things to me.

I will be getting certificates in the mail for completing my first two levels in the new Toastmaster program.
