I’m still on the meat substitute, having mixed it with chicken teriyaki (another tasteless wonder) but again managed to get down barely a half. I’m struggling to think what to try next, and can only hope my tour of the shops will present something.

That’s a new one for me! My favourite is also probably recent, sold here as Prince Rouge, the only down side being its size; it takes a lot of eating!

The best apple I've ever had was a Jona Gold from Albert Heijn and it was huge
I didn't need anything to eat for the rest of the day
