I'm glad you found your retainer, Jamie, and I really hope nothing like that ever happens again. 
My brother recently got his retainer, and the dentist gave him a list of instructions of what not to and what to do with retainers. One of the bullet points said that one should not wrap ones retainer in a tissue because other people might mistaken it as trash and will proceed to throw it away.

My hair is the weirdest thing ever. It looks lighter when it's in the light but it actually is a dark brown.

It's FRUSTRATING, isn't it? At least I'm not hungry at the moment. 
Well, I would eat some junk food that's lying around, but I eat too many; I'm trying to eat a little healthier.
