I’m at a bed and breakfast at a farm with llamas, alpacas, and cows! They’re adorable.

Seeing my feral kitties and neighborhood cats when I went out to feed them (Always a great start to the day)

Talked to the person in charge of hiring about my application for a new job and she said she would update me in a couple of weeks.

He’s a medium hair, orange, stripey tabby with green eyes with a bit of white at the tip of his tail. I thought he was just a small, full grown cat when he showed up. Now that he’s getting his energy back he seems younger. I’ve never taken care of an animal in such a state before. I feel much more bonded to him than I have to any other pet I’ve had before.

My boyfriend is always making friends with all of the animals wherever he goes. He puts water out ever day in the summer for whichever thirsty animals need it. He’s had more than a few pets choose him.

I feel like this kitty is going to help bring me out of myself. I had been so focused on getting myself well and functioning again that I’d been self isolating. This kitty is showing me how good it can feel to connect again.

Our dog usually ignores me in favor of my wife. He has been giving me all the attention today.

Took part in my first Ebay auction this evening, and as a newbie was fully expecting to be outmanoeuvred. The item had a provisional selling price of £30 with only one bid, so with twenty minutes left on the clock I put in a bid for £34. Under Ebay rules, this meant that it would sell for £31 if there were no further bids.

I watched the clock warily as time ran out, and sure enough one of the notorious Ebay 'snipers' swooped with 10 seconds remaining. Almost immediately I learned I'd won the auction, with a selling price of £33.05. The sniper must have been gambling that my bid was no more than £32, and had bid £32.05. It's a really satisfying feeling to pull off something like this, and I can see myself becoming an addict, if I'm not already one...

Congrats I tend to place my bids during the last minute if I'll be around but I sometimes forget or lose track of time & don't make the bid. What did you win

An old laptop in way above average condition. I now own 19 of them, and have bought 5 this month. As I said, it's an addiction...

Strengthening the faith of a Mormon friend with a long and, I think eloquent, speech condemning pride and speaking of my difficulties overcoming it. She was greatly impressed and overcome with satisfaction at knowing someone whose views coincided so closely with her own. It's always great when that happens; devout faith can be lonely indeed.

The irony is that I'm an RC and wouldn't dream of embracing the Mormon faith.

So, work didn't let us leave early even though the line was stopped for two hours, but instead a few of us hijacked a set of speakers and started a cypher. There's something way funner about rapping with other people compared to doing it alone. I think I saw someone make the decision to start practising and getting serious too; Dave's been producing for years so he gets it, I think he'll pick-up being an emcee quicker than I did.
