One of my wife's co-workers went on vacation. He's a back-stabbing, conniving, lying, s****-talking sunnova b-word, so of course he's endeared himself to upper management. Since Monday, and for two and a half more weeks, my wife has been and will be coming home in the evening even happier than when she leaves for work in the morning.

Cute cat videos and seeing my feral kitties this morning. They are a great way to brighten the day.

It's a shame that it's so common that not having it happen makes you happy instead of you just being unhappy when it happened.


I know exactly what you mean by that quote. Maybe you & your wife could do something fun/enjoyable to celebrate her nice break from him. Make the best of it while you can.

I went to work. I saw a tyre which is ideal for using as a spare for a very cheap price. I then half jokingly asked for staff discount (The tyre was so cheap it was silly to ask. I asked in my humour!) and I had it even cheaper!
In all my whole life, that was the cheapest bicycle tyre I have ever bought. It will be used to keep my bicycles on the road.

Since I put up a little fence around my flower bed, my neighbor hasn't been shoveling his dog's poop into it anymore.

I got my new iPhone case, wet ones wipes for the laundry room (I can be very picky about touching things in the public laundry room) I also got sleeveless nightgown at Walmart. I got things Tuesday & Wednesday too, I should got my new iPad case (the case I have now is breaking) they didn’t deliver my iPad case yet. I also bought more styluses for my iPad & phone. I bought new cable cord for charging my stuff. I really needed an iPhone case, I keep dropping my phone I found Pepcid in a bottle

was able to get some basic yardwork done, glad i was still able to get it done despite my physical limitations of old age.

Kitties give us such joy!

As for me, I have a job interview for an Assistant Clerk position at the library. I'm nervous, but excited as well. I hope I succeed and I get valuable practice for any full-time position that may open up in 2020. This is one of my goals.
