XH ... I guess he did this work laptop thing cuz technically it's not him doing a thing juat borrowing one and loaning it... He continues to be a jerk n not follow what we signed on

I hate dealing with L's and if it werent for him I wouldnt have to. I think torture physically is preferable to dealing with or thinking about all this

I have my first ever non-sinus-related toothache that hasn't gone away fairly rapidly. And a phobia of having dental problems. Debating whether to tell my mom and have her schedule an appointment with my dentist tomorrow (assuming it still hurts then) or just see if brushing more and getting my gums into better shape will address the issue.

flossing or better yet ,waterjet with 2/3 water 1/3 mouthwash , massage gum root area firmly ..3 to 4 times aday in addition. till pain goes away. just a thought from own experiences ....?

I forgot about flossing, that will help my gum health. I just somehow managed to get out of the habit of brushing/flossing, probably due to sensory issues, and have never been able to get back into it. I've been trying to massage the gum around the tooth with my tongue since it hurts if I touch the tooth with my finger, because I've been told before to do that for gum irritation. I'll set alarms on my phone to brush, floss, and massage my gums, and hopefully that will help me actually do it. It does feel more like hypersensitivity than anything else, which points in the direction of it being a gum problem, I think. Thank you for the advice :)

all things being equal ...... it does sound potentially like a cavity,, am no fan of dentists but it would not hurt to have a throrough check up if you havent been following oral maintenence. Lost a molar to a absess once just tending it , instead of having it looked at , and it was only manifesting as root pain also.
but once again this is only my experience.

I just talked to my mom about my tooth, and we concluded that they're probably only doing emergency stuff at the dentist's office and this isn't an emergengy, so I'm going to give it a little while with brushing and flossing twice a day and using my dad's toothpaste that's designed for sensitive teeth to see if that helps.

might get opinon from dentist pain may come under the heading of a urgent situation. But personally would try to ride it out, but , teeth are alotta trouble if they get outta control .
Have found that the water pik devises are most efficiant at oral care. Had great luck with one of those when , had to deal with braces ..

It doesn't hurt enough to be anything more than an annoyance at this point, but yeah, I don't want to wait and have it become a horrible, infected mess, either. If the pain gets to any more than "annoyance" level, I'll ask my mom to call my dentist and ask if they will see me for it.

My sister on phone earlier today said I have to fight for decision making sole custody due to the past few months and something that was said today by XH.

I don't want to think about it but it's affected how I treated kids' naughtiness at times. Instead of taking it calmly I started crying abd shouting

Quite shameful but essentially a sporadic meltdown till the nap...

it is a subjective thing ' pain'' your tolerance will not equate to the amount of damage done. please if the opportunity exists see a dentist.. pain is natures ways of informing us something is amiss. these are facts not opinion.. please be heathly and safe during these times .

My mom just tried to provoke me into inflicting self-harm just because I fed the dog.

It's good that you didn't fall into it.

You have a calm and caring personality and her overreactions are irrational. I'm very grateful for all your kind messages here.

Rain again. I am unable to go for my walk today. Maybe it will stop raining later so I can go for a short walk.

I spent probably at least as much time awake last night as asleep, and my jaw really hurts (I have TMD that comes and goes, right now it has certainly come).
