The Elvis album was this one, from 1977 (33 rpm).

It's my sentimental favourite from childhood, and it belonged to my dad. My brother has custody of the original album (after our fist fight and thumb war :P ), so I bought my own copy online instead of listening via YouTube.

You can imagine how totally shocking it was to find a 45rpm of Cat Stevens in the package, for no reason. 8O :scratch:

I ordered my Elvis album last year as well, but they sent me the wrong one and I didn't bother to exchange it.

Last year they sent this one which isn't as good, even though they had advertised it as being the one I got today.

Blabbs,

It's actually fine -- it's just that it isn't as sentimental for me as the other. The cover is similar and there are many duplicate songs, but not all of the songs which send nostalgic shivers down my spine!

Fried Oreos are really good. The only time I ever had them is 1ce a year since I moved when I go the county fair. The last time I went was a couple weeks ago. I never had fried twinkys but I bet they're good too. I never been to a state fair & I doubt I ever will. I'm not against going but I don't know when or how I'll ever get the opportunity to go.

they are sorta browned and firm texture on the outside, the innards are sorta runny. i think mine was a bit overdone. it was buried in a bunch of whipped chocolate cream and powdered sugar. i wanna try deep-fat-fried cheddar/bacon next. the state fair here is the only one with the fancy fair food. i took advantage of public transport to take me the last 1/3 of the way there, took a two-hour drive each way to get to the transit pick-up point, however. i was wiped by the time i got home.
