Seeing my best friend in distress.

the plumber keeps putting me off 3 weeks and said he would show up this evening and he is a no show ........ now he wants to start without being able to finish the job...and run this project on and on
once he gets started am afraid he will never finish and still want to be paid.

The dude who still couldn't be bothered to answer any video calls for his kids...
nor call back for them..

though I know he sees it because it shows on Whatsapp 'last seen today at ___" time as well he viewed the pics and video i sent him of funny child, as the blue checkmarks appear to show u the recipient saw them

Canada Post said that a parcel I ordered has been successfully delivered today, but I haven't found a trace of it. Maybe it's just a delay because of the pandemic, but I can't stop worrying that someone stole it or it got lost or sent to the wrong address. I've never had my parcels stolen before.

If someone did steal it, I hope they realize that they've just sold their soul for a Charlie Brown doll. Good grief!

I've ran into issues with Canada Post thinking my parcel was a step ahead or behind where their system said it expected it to be. Never lost one though and I buy a lot of toy cars online, so my 'sample' is >300 parcels over the past 5 years.

Not sure where you ordered from, but with eBay you'll get a refund since they pretty much always settle in the buyer's favour. That also means if it's a product that isn't rare the seller will almost certainly just send another one since it costs them less than a full refund.

Hypothetically eBay might actually be very vulnerable to scams involving buyers and parcel pirates who choose to cooperate, although it would likely require each pirate to have a herd of buyers. A pair, or someone playing both roles would be too obvious.

Actually returned a missed video call yesterday which the kids clung to. He was perfectly healthy and fine contrary to my parents' suggesting he might be ill.

Children with autism are really tiring.. Lovely but tiring beyond belief. I have to say anyone who doubts the existence of levels in autism needs to see my kids. I mean bsides the scientific proof as compiled by respected autistic ppl like Temple Grandin
