My therapist idolises him, and met him in NYC in the late 50's after Tutti Frutti became a hit.

I associate the two so much that I keep thinking my therapist sang Tutti Frutti.

It's like they're the same person.

He's going to be heartbroken. This brings back a lot of memories for me too.

My dog clamped her jaw shut on my fingers while I was trying to give her antibiotics, so now two of my fingers have been alternating between being numb and having stinging pain. It's irritating me since it feels weird.

I love how you care so much about your therapist's feelings.

And you say you are level 2 which yo me at times from anecdotes u sound like my level 3 son.. Like the stairs (falling) thing. And he is also a very heartfelt empathetic person

His one and only verbal real words he said were 'I love you too' to his dad when his dad was sad (in front of me).it came out elongated and slurred with great difficulty after which he was so happy tp have said it. I mean it cost him so much effort but he said it.

Any psychiatrist who says otherwise about ASD and caring about people...
must look at this forum.

It's Mother's Day and for the first time in forever I can't be with my mom.

I called her a few minutes ago, but it's not the same.

Canada post is really screwed up right now, and it doesn't look like I'll be getting my parcel very soon. When I tracked it again today I learned it's now back in Halifax. Maybe they'll send it back to the correct address?

Well if it doesn't and goes all the way back to the seller I'd better get a refund at least. And I'm worried because I ordered a few other parcels from Amazon and Ebay as well. The last couple of times before this they arrived okay.

The more you want something to be in the mail, the less of it there is. :(

My sleep is also royally screwed up right now. It takes me nearly the whole night to fall asleep and then I wake up in the middle of the afternoon. Seems to happen to me every spring around this time, but since I don't have a good reason to get up earlier I just don't bother. The past two days I've been waking up with a really sore back and a headache and tense muscles. I sprayed my bed mattress with Lysol on Monday, I wonder if that was safe? I'm sure it's safer than when I sprayed it with water and bleach last summer. Even after it dried the smell of bleach was awful.
The US post is about to be bankrupt & privatized or just replaced by UPS & FedEx thanx to Trump not funding that essential government service.
Perhaps you could try something kinda sedating like night time pain or allergy medicine or tea or something to help you fall alseep for a couple days while you reset your schedule.

I’m sooo tired of having alot of trouble sleeping at night, I been itching, scratching & bleeding :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :( 8O   I been taking Benadryl. My cat can keep me up too, she been clawing on my bed, she been biting me too, she been biting me so hard that I will bleed, last night, she bitten me on my wrist, I was bleeding so much, the blood went all around my hand.

Can someone tell me want to do so she won’t bite me anymore?
I have skin eczema that flares up sometimes & I scratch till I bleed sometimes. It's been getting a little worse for a bit now. Thankfully the spots that have been bothering me are mostly just around my ankles. I have some prescription cream to put on but I hate dealing with that stuff. I'm not sure where you've been itching Kitty but you could try putting something like Cortisone cream on when your getting ready for bed. I think you've mentioned having Psoriasis before. I don't know a lot about it but I know there's various treatments that include oral medication & shots & probably other treatments as well. I'd recommend seeing a doc after this virus stuff gets better & the economy opens up again.
I'm far from a cat expert or anything but in my experience cats can be real pains if you don't give them enough attention like if you don't play with them enough. Simply providing them toys doesn't cut it with them. They're predators who are attracted to movement. Attach a toy to a string & move it around. It gives them something to chase & pounce at. However cats are moody & may not want to play when you do so try at various times till she plays a bit. Fleas can wind cats up too so check her for fleas & take some steps to get rid of them if she has em. I'd also recommend not allowing her in your bedroom while your sleeping. Either keep your bedroom door closed or close your cat in a room. She needs access to her water, food, & litter-box thou so they'll have to be moved if they're kept in your bedroom. Our cat isn't allowed in our bedroom. I sleep better without a cat climbing on me & I have allergy problems.

Add me to the list of WPers waiting on parcels from Canada Post.

Although, I suppose these not arriving hasn't really made me unhappy; they'll get here when they get here.

I've been waiting on a few packages to arrive since the 1st of this month. I guess that's not even two weeks, but it sure feels a lot longer.

My trachea hurts more again today (from when some ibuprofen I took dry probably got stuck a few evenings ago).
