I really like the music in Firefly... the only reason I've not bought the sound tracks for Firefly and Serenity has been that some of the tracks are very short, and I'm easily distracted when a song ends. It's hard to explain... I know when a song is about to end and if I'm doing something, my mind switches focus immediately to recognizing what the next song will be, and short tracks chop my focus considerably because of that. Sometimes too, if I know a song is coming to an end, I have to stop what I'm doing until the next starts for unknown reasons as well... which a 50 second-ish song is near it's end just as it begins. I think I'd have to edit the tracks to seamlessly loop, and I'm not aware of how to do that easily. Still quite enjoyable for a round of undivided attention :)

I'm listening to 'rain' recorded and sent to me by someone who lives where it rains a lot. It's very soothing. :)

I pull the song I like to mp3 or ogg and then use audacity to edit the silence out of them so that they start and stop immediately. My mp3 player has the option to pause between songs or to start right up, as do most players in windows/linux/android. and many players on devices have an editable loop option with a pause or no pause between finish and restart, you can usually get the silence either eliminated or minimized so that it's over before you realize it was there.

BUT, worst case scenario, use Audacity to make a really long mix with no pauses in between (make sure you have ffmpeg installed to export to mp3), then just loop that single sound file on your player/device.
