I don't see how this makes you a loser. Accidents happen, are you okay? Sorry to hear you broke your favorite bowl. You're not a loser, please forgive yourself and take care of that burn.

Sensory issues. So very much sensory issues. They have been terrible for me recently. I just want to be able to shower like a normal person again instead of resorting to staying out of the water and using just a washcloth and soap, and trying to figure out some tolerable way of washing my hair. I want to be able to relax even if the people at the other end of the street are mowing their lawn, the neighbors’ dogs are barking, and/or there are children screaming outside (in an “I’m having fun” way). I want to at least be able to wear noise-cancelling headphones to help with that without panicking because now I’m not receiving the proper information to monitor my environment without looking around. I want to be able to enjoy being outside in the coming months and not mind the humidity or getting a little sweaty, be able to take my dog for walks or play in the backyard with him without having to bring a towel and wipe away sweat every five minutes because I can’t stand even a trace of it. And later in the summer, the cicadas. Oh, gosh, the cicadas. They’re so loud that they ensure I will at least be annoyed by them for a couple hours every evening they’re out even if I’m inside, no matter what part of the house I’m in. With the heat, humidity, and later cicadas, I’m really dreading summer.

Had a meltdown. Inevitable and almost daily .. But worst is when I cannot control it (ie run somewhere to be alone)

and it comes out in spurts as I try to fight it...

Shut down (not a real one the type that last fr days bur the lesser ones that are similar to dissociation) many times today n yesterday.

Friggin meltdowns. Very disheartening to know it's always been a part of my life and still hasn't stopped.

Elder's nurse (one of them) resigned from the nursing company recently. I THINK she got a better job offer or is moving or... Idk.. But she is really great and I wrote about her on this website before. Elder loves her.

Tired, physically exhausted, dizzy, muscle twitches... Just another day with moderate to severe anemia. And no end in sight, the iron infusions barely seem to do anything.

And I’ve developed this annoying thing that probably would be a cough, except it’s deep enough in my respiratory tract that it feels like coughing won’t help, so I automatically (without even thinking about it) suppress the coughs. But no fever, I can smell dinner cooking, and no significant difficulty breathing, so most likely it at least isn’t COVID-19 related, probably just allergies or something.

^ that is no fun. Doctor needs to investigate now that you know iron isn't the cure (or the entire cure).

I know they have online medical services now in our country. If something like that is available I wonder if they would help more...

but your mom might have to do it as u might be too exhausted to do it alone.

Car accident, but I don't think they're showing up because the damage probably didn't amount to over $2k. At least, if asked, my official position is that I didn't report it because it didn't appear to be over $2k of damage because I only saw paint scratches, no denting in his fender sheet metal and I only saw road rash from gravel roads on his front bumper skin. My bumper skin was already damaged and the only damage to it was a result of the previous damage, basically the dent allowed part of it to fold back.

I didn't acknowledge fault (I apologized that it had occurred but didn't and will not admit fault until I'm determined to be at fault since that basically ensures you'll be found at fault). Unrelated to all of that my gas tank fell out, so I need to deal with that problem even before I worry about a bumper skin.

I have another iron infusion scheduled for Tuesday, and then we’ll probably make another appointment with my doctor a week or two later to get my iron level checked, then when the results come back, see where we go from there. I trust my doctor. She said that it isn’t uncommon for people to need a second round of iron infusions, and also that the infusions can take up to a week to have any real effect. I’m just frustrated that all I can do right now is wait.
