I have a job interview next week at the place I previously worked at that I loved working for, and the job is full time in the field I want to be in. Yay! Hopefully it works out. :D

Simpsons references make me happy every day.

Oh, a guy who's bullied me at work really looks like Bert from Sesame Street with pretty similar mannerisms, short fuse, etc. I noticed it at about 7 am, pointed it out to a few guys who sometimes try to get the guy wound up. Didn't mention it again after first break, hands off. That said, I do say 'Hey Bert.' to a few guys, but no further references to the guy, nothing at all after lunch.

Third quarter every couple of minutes I'm hearing multiple coworkers say 'Hey Bert'.
By fourth quarter:

And then we got dismissed 30 minutes early because problems with the weld department.

A girl whose writings and music I like, she is on my facebook, said something about how autistic people have a 'fae' look and that's how she knew straight away I am 'genuinely Aspie' . That made me happy because

1. She eased my self doubt (made me not feel ugly). Fae, faerie, that gives it a pleasantly 'magical' feeling.

2. If someone feels bad from being bullied, and one of the reasons was for looking odd, that oddness becomes less odd if you think that other people look similar to you.

3. It makes you feel happy that someone recognizes and doesn't question your diagnosis.
