Hmm that makes a lot of sense! Plus I'm not "allowed" to swear at home so the internet is a good place to vent.

There's a time and place to swear and in front of your Mother isn't it imo. I didn't swear in front of my Mum for years and even now when I do I get that feeling inside me that I shouldn't of so I rarely do.

Yeah that's true. I really wish I didn't have to live with her, then I could have the freedom to cuss like a sailor all I want!

f**k! s**t! Piss! Damn! Hell! b***h! Bastard! Slut! Whore! c**t! p****! Dick! Ass! a**hole!

It's interesting how you say that considering how lately I have felt that only way to 'unclog' rage is (as much as I hate doing it, not the least b/c of my awareness of how swearing and the nature of insulting in Spanish is fairly different imo) to 'yield' to be expedient enough to swear. I'm not too sure currently how my 'swearing style' could be categorized as (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Profanity ... by_purpose) but I know that feeling of feeling trashy.

Has anyone else ever been 'heartbroken' when the ppl who have known you the longest don't understand you? :| .

I had a nice meal with mum and the woman wasn’t rude in the shop.

I hate how being anti racist is a political act

The skeleton I saw yesterday had a really hollow spine and had it all his life and had to go and fight on horseback and died in a war

My parents think I’m better than I am

The places I don’t write about are more famous than the places I write about

I haven’t been to Edinburgh for ages apart from Waverly Station. I love how it smells of sugar (beer) and the festival.

I feel like Dr Jekyll

I don’t get why some grandparents resent spending time with their grandkids. This old woman I know said ‘my daughter wanted me to babysit, I told her I’ve done my time now it’s your turn’

It’s best to be allowed to voluntarily donate your body after your death so doctors can study dead bodies consensually not dig them up and upset people’s relatives

My girlfriend once moaned because I suggested a horror book to her and she didn’t get scared?

Nah it's The Unconquered Frontier

I wrote a novel a long time ago called that. It was crap and went unpublished. It was all about some woman in a totalitarian state who fought back but it was teenage drivel. I think every teenage geek has a novel about a dystopia and some Victorian style poetry which mimics either Sylvia Plath or Edgar Allan Poe. I kept writing poems and found my voice so I'm a poet now

Ironically I find gender confusing. So I just put down my sex which is female. I'm pretty butch.

I get why straight women end letters to friends with 'love' (because they forget femmes exist and think 'nobody would think I was in love with a woman') but I find it really frustrating and annoying when lesbians and bi women do it. :? Like - does she want more than just like? Does she want love?

Ugh it's such a cultural divide.

I'm coming up with one of my own now and talking to her about deep stuff. If she wants a platonic friendship, so do I but I want it to be a deep one. Fed up of 'friends' who don't talk substance.

“[Tolkien] believe that ’there’s a little good in the worst of us and a little bad in the best of us’; but not that there’s a little good in evil and a little evil in good. He believes in human moral complexity but not in logical moral complexity.” — Peter Kreeft, The philosophy of Tolkien.

“Iluvatar’s intervention does not remove the significance of the choices made by the Children of Iluvatar, but in many ways it can redeem those choices.

Or; to put it in another way, the characters are responsible only for their own choices and not for the outcome of those choices; they are responsible for the means, while the ends are in Iluvatar’s hands."—Matthew Dickerson (Following Gandalf)

While I was 'feasibly specific' with an employment counsellor of sorts yesterday me describing a common job does not make it any more likely to appear on websites does it?.
