In many cases yes (especially when it comes to discussing immigrants) but it's possible for them to be left-wing or totally apolitical.

so it seems then that the typical "bogan" is not behaving bloodymindedly in the way the typical maga here has shown themselves to behave all too often.

A few of them are. Some if them are quite good natured. Some of shout racial slurs at Indians. Bogans are a diverse group. There are even cashed up bogans (upper-middle class), who grew up poor, retain their accent and spend their cash on tacky but expensive things.

a lot of magas here like to spend much on spendy tacky shiny things.

Perhaps you and I could circle over Ramsbury.
I'll give you an extra nob.

Hi Kraftie

Please feel free to ask some questions about the UK or life in the UK, it's quirks, it's oddities and everything in between.

I really love learning about and discussing cultures around the world, both explaining the things we do here that we may not realise are unusual to others, and finding out about the nuances of daily life from people elsewhere!

Here she is! You gorgeous specimen.

Did those evil bosses managed to force you back to work during this horrid plague?

Fluffy and Dragon in the same conversation in almost real time!

No :D shop reopened on the 15th May but they asked if anyone wanted to stay on furlough because they didn't

need everyone (reduced opening times) and I said I had no excuses (health, childcare ect) but...novel going well,

so manager said ok but will expect it finished by the time I go back and I said if they left me on furlough long

enough I'd finish the whole series. She laughed and I haven't been called back yet. I don't think it will be much

longer but I've had a nice run :D I don't want them getting too comfy without me.
