If anyone is wondering how the furlough thing is working it goes like this. You get paid 80% of your normal wages

on the normal day you get wages in the normal way from your employers (they do all the leg work). Mine actually

paid 100% for March (I was furloughed on the 23rd) and for April, and then down to 80% for May. I know in

industries such as restaurants there will be job losses in the end but it will be easier for those people to find jobs

in other areas if the other areas haven't all gone down the s**t as well so I'm giving the scheme 10/10.

Karamazov - how has it been for self employed?

Evening! :D

In our case we received about 60-70% of what we’d earned last March & April awaiting to hear about 1st of May onwards.

We also got a pay your back tax letter that was for a couple of hundreds more than the payout, so thus far we’re down, but not a badly as could have been.

Landlord has written off the rent for the duration, so our standard of living hasn’t dropped: it would have done quite spectacularly if she hadn’t.

I agreed with getting rid of Little Britain - didn't know about the racism but the homophobia and ableism and transphobia didn't sit right with me.

But Fawlty Towers?

We won't be able to make fun of anything at all or have any comedy lol.

^ Fawlty Towers is on Netflix (just checked). :)

Didn’t like Little Britain at the time: preferred League of Gentlemen. :D

Not The Nine O'Clock News taught me that the noise made when you pierce the foil top of a coffee jar with a spoon is 'Fot'

I didn't like LB because it attacked down, our humour usually goes the other way.

What's wrong with Manwell, I bet the Portuguese love him, si?

From what I remember of 'ello 'ello, we came off as the stupid ones.

Most likely the episode with the Moosehead on Fawlty.
Bennie Hill would not exist in this time and I alway thought it was a hoot.
I liked Little Britain.

I read that the channel that took down the one episode yestersay was the only channel that were still showing the original version of it, which contained the N word. All other channels showing it already took that down years ago and replaced it with a 'clean' version. This channel is expected to put the clean version back as a replacement.
