Maybe you've seen too many commercials for those Twilight movies & you think one of the guys is cute

i dreamt that i was in a strange house i've never been in before, and i was talking with my mother as she was in her late 30s. it was like i was back in time, around late fall 1970- and my older brother was in vietnam, and my mother was talking about me to me, regarding my closeted hermithood in the present-day [now, in 2010] and that it was ok if that was how i was coping with my life. she asked me if there was a choice whether my older brother died in vietnam or if i committed suicide, which would i prefer, and i shot the question right back at her, and she went, "Hmmmmmmmmmmmm." i told her i would rather die and let him live. she looked pensive when i said that. then she got up and opened a package of hamburger buns, and i went "Yummmmmmmm..." and she said, "no, you can't have those." then she got out a box of apples and said "you can have THESE." btw in real life she was always trying to get me to eat more of the apples that grew in the backyard orchard apple trees.

I had another Sweeney Todd dream. This time, Sweeney Todd was dying and Mrs. Lovett was already dead, except Sweeney had reanimated her corpse (turned her into a zombie). Mrs. Lovett told him that she wanted to die alongside him, but he didn't seem to like the idea. He just kept her alive so he could keep doing scientific experiments on her.

I think the part about Mrs. Lovett being a zombie was my mind making a connection to the fact that Helena Bonham Carter plays both Mrs. Lovett and the title character in Corpse Bride.

i dreamt my late mother and me were in a kitchen of some weird house i'd never been in before, and she appeared much younger than i remember her, but otherwise it was as though she dropped in from heaven to pay me a visit. she and i chatted about her day in some weird terrestrial outpost of heaven where she went to a heavenly commissary [military food store] and was stuck in line behind some old guy who was arguing with a heavenly cashier about a large bulk food order he had ordered, and in the background i had a mental picture [in my dream] of my mom waiting in line behind this guy at the checkout counter with a big pallet of boxed foodstuffs being carted to the front of the store. my mother related this story to me with a measure of bemusement, as though she thought it was quite strange for herself to be telling me this, when she was in heaven and it wasn't supposed to be about earthly things like old men and commissaries. and for some reason, in the dream there was a piece of damp rice stuck to my right-hand ring finger that would not dislodge no matter how hard i tried to flick it off into the garbage.

i dreamt that i was in some stranger's house, and he was civil with me in the manner of a good neighbor, and it was at night and he wanted to go someplace with his wife, so he asked me if i would look in on his two young twin daughters, both of whom were wearing little pink ballet tutus and had their brunette hair in bilateral pigtails. i said "why not?" so before he left he proceeded to show me how to stoke his central wood-burning furnace, and it was a strange automated affair with a stack of precisely collated wood on a mechanism that fed each log into this large glass-doored stove, with a metal pipe leading out through the roof. then he and his wife disappeared someplace while i glanced in the twin's bedroom to make sure they were alright, then i meandered about his house and explored perhaps where i should not have explored, and i got to his music system which was hidden behind a cabinet, and turned on some music, as the house seemed stiflingly quiet to me. then suddenly the neighbor and his wife were back home, and they noticed that i had turned on their stereo, which was playing relatively popular music, and they glanced at me with a silent request to turn it off, so i did, but just as soon and i turned the knob off, some other ethereal music could be heard coming from i don't know where, like it was all over the place. then i walked into some room with a little couch that was covered in a dog blanket that was just matted with hair, so i took a hairbrush and was busy brushing away all the hair when the neighbor walked in and looked at me like i was doing something very strange, then he shook his head and walked into the next room. then i awoke.

when i was a toddler, i dreamt that i was trapped inside of a fly's wing. sorta seems like it was the right wing, which is totally unlike this lefty. anyways, the dream was in slow motion, maybe like how a fly actually sees things, otherwise they'd never be able to avoid your flyswatter as expertly as they routinely do. anyways, we [me and the fly] silently floated from room to room, and i saw everything through the veiny membrane of the fly wing, it reminded me a bit of stained glass but without the stain. everything was quiet and calm, and everything looked dusky and pinkish-pastel. it was inside my childhood house, and there were no other family members awake and about. it was just me floating around the house, on flying wings of housefly. my last remembered bit of this dream was when the fly alit on the side of a brown wooden cabinet, and i thought it an odd sensation to have this fly on the wall view of the inside of my house. then i awoke.

I had a dream about ferdinand for some reason last night. I was living in some house with lots of other people, like a commune type thing and ferdinand was there, so I sat on a sofa talking to him and having a laugh and stuff.
Then I had another dream I was playing dares with some made up girl, Louis walsh and Cheryl Cole.

i dreamt i was in a hospital labor and delivery ward, in some weird birthing room with folks sitting on chairs beside the delivery room table, with the doctor doing the delivery hiding under a blanket over the patient's legs, and me at the head of the table also under the same big blanket, chatting with the doctor over the patient's head and torso, about how nice it was when we both turned 21 and drinking alcohol became legal. then i awoke. man, that was a BIG delivery table!

I had a dream that I was watching Spongebob, and Spongebob and Patrick went to a Justin Bieber concert. After the episode was over, I logged onto Facebook and put that I liked Justin Bieber. One of my friends said "This will come back to haunt you." I put "One. I only like one song of his."

I don't care much for Justin Bieber's music in reality, though I do feel sorry for him having all those haters. He's only a little boy, he doesn't deserve to be made fun of so much.

Last night I was dreaming that I was on a reality television show where I was trapped in a maze like grocery market. It was flooded with Lamia who would attack if you didn't flash them with a mirror and answer one of their random questions to pass. Eventually I had the rules changed and I had to stab them with mirror shards but still answer questions afterward. They didn't die, they'd just get back up for the next contestant after I passed.

I had a dream the other night that I was at the college I go to. My husband and I were both going there (husband does not go to college). My husband got out of class before me and drove home. I didnt have a cell phone, so Eminem (yes, the rapper... ) was going to give me a ride. So I got in his red sports car and then he said he had to go to the school caffeteria first because he was hungry - so I said okay. We drove over there and went in. We got surrounded by excited college students, freaking out over seeing Eminem.

I just figured whatever and walked away from the crowd and got food. After eating, I saw him leaving, so I chased after him since he was my ride home. But when I got to his car, there were other people in the car and no seat for me . So, they left and I walked around campus until I came across a spot where people were voting (dunno what for). In the line was my husbands old friend and his (now ex) girlfriend. I asked them to give me a ride and they said ok. So, after standing in the with them forever - I finally asked them if they had a phone because calling my mom would be way faster than standing in that huge line. So they gave me their phone, but then I couldnt remember the phone number.

Eventually, somehow I had made it home and I went to go check on my 3 month old son and he wasnt in the house. My husband had run across country with him. So I called him and told him to come back, but he said no and that he was kidnapping him. Then I woke up.

I had a dream recently that I don't remember but what I remember most was that the dream was so realistic that when I woke up I was scared that I was suddenly in a new place and didn't realize that I was still in my bedroom.

I had a dream the other night where I stumbled upon a huge family of stray cats outside an abandoned classroom. I made them nice places to sleep inside the classroom. One of the cats looked like a minature lion. I think he was the head honcho stray cat. There were lots of tiny 2 or 3 day old kittens but I couldn't get to hold them because their mother was nursing them.

Was it a dream?

Or a psychic premonition of crazy cat lady likeness in my future?

I had 2 weird dreams. I shall tell you about the second one.
I was watcing some TV programme where Richard Dawkins was meeting a creationist preacher from America and he was talking to him about animals and a bit about evolution. And they were also going on a trip together to some island.
Anyway when they were talking Dawkins was on about common ancestors and all that stuff. Then the preacher was talking about favourite animals, I forgot what his was but then he said to Dawkins "so what about you, you looove monkeys don't you. Let's hear about monkeys" but he said it in a sarcastic tone for some reason, then Dawkins was on about common ancestors again. Then they went to this beach and jungle somewhere to look at the animals, there was a family of gorillas and the preacher kept picking the babies up and Dawkins told him not to. And it turned out that Dawkins and this preacher were best friends and having nice chats and stuff, infact it was more of a "bromance". Then at the end of the programme when the credits rolled they were pretending to dance and kiss for a laugh and my sister who was watching said "eeerr what are they doing?" so I goes "they are only pretending!"

For the record, I'm not on crack or anything...

So in my dream I was in my bedroom playing tictactoe with cookies (cookies appear often in my dreams) with my sister. She said "don't go into the bathroom! there's a carge in there!" I was like "yeah, whatever." So I went into the bathroom, and out walks a man with a pig/horse face (I wish I could describe it better but I cannot.) I pointed at it and screamed CAAAARRGE!! ! And then ran through the living room and flipped over the couch, and acted like I was dead. I looked up a little bit, and I saw my sister on the computer - I was really pissed because she always hogs it - then the thing came back, looked at me for a second, then walked over to my sister and said "You are the frito master and are under arrest for impersonating a white donkey."

I'm not joking, that was THE WEIRDEST dream I've ever had. I've also had dreams that I gave birth to cookies, and I often have dreams that I'm pregnant with no explanation as to how (I'm a virgin)
