I wouldn't kid ya, CanyonWind.
Any business in Arizona has the right to post signs saying no firearms allowed, or check firearms at front desk (for Hotels). Otherwise you pack a 44 on your hip when you go to the bank or anywhere else.

Awhile back, there was a dastardly criminal in Texas who attacked a young girl after finishing her night shift at a Chinamart, whoops, Walmart. He grabbed her in the parking lot, in full view of the security cameras, kidnapped her, raped her, then shot and killed her. (I think he dumped her body in Texas.) He drove from Texas through New Mexico into Arizona. By that time it was early morning. He walked into a cafe that was serving breakfast, and brandished his gun announcing this was a robbery. An older gent on one of the stools at the counter swiveled, whipped out his .38 and shot him through the shoulder. Arizona Highway Patrol caught him trying to get help at a nearby hospital.

Here in Arizona, we shoot back.

Westward Ho! is the only town in the UK (and possibly Europe too) to feature an exclamation mark in its name. I've never visited though. Anyone who has - do tell. :)

You can't visit Orson Welles grave. His final wishes were to be cremated, and his urn to kept on a private estate in Spain. (I hope this was his final way of thumbing his nose at hollywood, not to be buried there.)

Gunpowder was first described in a Chinese book from c. 850 CE called "Classified Essentials of the Mysterious Tao of the True Origin of Things." It related that alchemists attempting to make this substance frequently burned down their house.

I lived in Arizona a while back and there was a bank across the street from where worked where we would go in to cash our paychecks after work on friday. There was a guy who was always there at the same time, a biker type who was carrying several zippered bags and wearing a large revolver in a holster. It never seemed to bother anybody that he was waiting in line at the bank with a gun.

Because Arizona isn't a state of cowards. Here, the National Security squad would have turned up if a person had carried a gun openly. They actually turned up at the house next to my brother's because some idiot and coward thought that he saw someone with a gun in the house...

Hey Litigious ! ! Pack your bags!!
In the state of Arizona, USA, it is legal to carry a registered firearm provided it's in plain sight, like on a gunbelt. It is also legal to possess automatic firarms, if you go through a lengthy permit process, AND it is legal to carry a concealed firarm, if you have taken a class and cleared a background check ! !!

(We aims to please, you aim too, please?)

I need a Green Card, though... :(

Michael Myers was actually wearing a Capt Kirk mask in the movie Halloween. They modified and painted it bluish white and it did not look anything like William Shatner.

You can visit Penn and Teller's grave evn though they are still alive. They even have neat trick you can play on a friend. The idea is to "trick" your friend to pick the three of clubs from a deck. Later, you visit Penn and tellers grave and on the tomb stone is a picture of the three of clubs with the caption "Is this your card?".
