The Big Rip because I believe in the Second Law of Thermodynamics (tendency to disorder in a closed system, ie the universe, increases and reactions can only be spontaneous if either this happens or if a whole heck of a lot of work is put in to drive them forwards).

Straight-forward or confusing?
