Awh, Rin looks so cute in your drawing, Makayla! 
I'm back from my friend's birthday party.
It started out awkward, but funny. No one was talking and just stared at each other and their food.
Then once everyone started talking to each other, I felt left out because I couldn't think of anything to add to the conversations.
One group of people at the party was also talking about Asperger's Syndrome at one point, and my old best friend called it *word not found* Syndrome. 
Then around the late afternoon and evening, it became pretty fun.
I would add more details, but I feel it would turn into a rant if I did.

I guess I had fun around the end of the party, as I have mentioned in my previous post.
I think I even made new friends/acquaintances.
I feel irritated at my old best friend though.
He didn't speak directly to me all day! He even spoke to my little brother, whom he has never really known!
And when I told a joke to a friend, he didn't ask me what I said. He asked my friend!
I swear! He's avoiding me!

I have no idea.
True, we haven't been talking to each other for a long while, but he hasn't talked to a lot of people at the party for a long while either!
Even at my birthday party, he seemed more excited to see everyone else than he was to see me.
A friend who talked to him said that he just doesn't know what to say to me without hurting my feelings. But completely ignoring me is just worse.

Well, we did have a lot of arguments once high school started.
A lot of people from my junior high don't like high school that much, and so a lot of people changed. 
We had arguments because I'd let him rant about his day, but when it came my turn. I just... I don't know. It's just not the same anymore.
I guess it's just better to cut ties with him.
I sent him a message a few weeks ago, thanking him for being my best friends for those few years and a bunch of other stuff. I thought that would be a way for me to say "good-bye" to him, but another friend somehow got that message and kept telling me I shouldn't give up. (I had completely forgotten about him until this friend brought it up.)
Eh, I give up.
And I am so sorry for ranting to you. Truly. It's just that the only two people I talk about these things to aren't on right now.

Nono, it's completely fine. I rant to myself all the time and it feels better when someone listens. You can rant to me any time you need to let off some steam. 
And yes people change. I've lost plenty of friends in ways similar to your situation. People will sometimes grow apart and I understand your predicament.

He was special though. I liked how we had completely opposite interests, views on life, moralities or lack of them, but got along so well.
He was the only person I told certain things to, but when we grew apart, I had to rely on others. And those others aren't always as supportive.
I feel better after taking a shower though.

He sounds like one friend of mine. We differ HUGELY in our economic and moral views but we get along great.
And showers do seem to help.
