I called in a medication refill to my doctor yesterday morning, but they never sent it to the pharmacy. Their office is closed today and tomorrow so now I'll be out of one of my meds for the next 2 days and the other maybe one day.

I hate doing this song and dance every month.

It can be like that in the UK. They used to allow one to have medication in advance but they stopped that to prevent people abusing it and taking too many.
It is why I rashion medication and do not take the dose I am supposed to take as I fear that if my body becomes dependent then I may not get medication when I need it and can go with gaps where I need to see a doctor to get the medication etc.
Under the old system one could have the occasional week or even a months delay as one was allowed to have a spare medication supply to cover a couple of weeks just incase.
So I tend to avoid taking medication unless I really have no choice, and then instead of taking it as I should (E.g. one a day) I will take it until the symptoms subside to more tollerable lwvels, and then I will stop taking them which I am not supposed to do.

Yes it's so frustrating and stressful. Their efforts to prevent people from abusing medications end up harming the majority of those who take these medications (the ones who don't abuse it). There's got to be a better way!

The one I'm out of us just for acid reflux. It's silly because I cannot imagine anyone abusing that
but they tell me I can't fill it too early. I wish I could go a day without my ADHD meds. Without it is like I'm drugged.

Worried about possible covid. Won't say any more unless symptoms become more obvious or I test positive.

Covid-19 is my karma for that 5 month period that I didn't visit my parents, back in 2016. I don't have it and I never did. It's the pandemic that's my karma.

The noisy, violent, mental patient neighbor is now home from apparently going somewhere for a couple days for the holiday.
If this supposed Jesus today celebrates the birth of actually had any of that power and mercy he is supposed to he'd either remove her or change her.
I am not impressed any more.

I hope that they can figure out what to do about that person. I'm sorry that you have to deal with all that commotion.

Christmas Day is over and it's raining outside. I wish I wouldn't cry about it.

Too cold.

Wearing something thick would mean...
Too heavy.

And if I end up sweating out of exertion or just discomfort if it failed to keep me warm...
Too troublesome.
