My back having spasms around a 30 year old injury and that being on the edge of sending me to the ER and since our little town's hospital abruptly closed in January this year that means the nearest ER is in the city 30 miles, 48km, away where they are having a covid problem.
:(
And something took a fingernail sized chunk out of the paint in the middle of left side sliding door of the nice 3 year old van my 80 year old and gradually dying parents gave me in August to replace my literally quarter-century old van.
I wanted to get touch up paint on it before we have wet and snow again.
You know, to slow down rust.
But no, once again my defective body undermines all effort to do the right thing.
Even after taking pills it is a question of whether I'll be even able to go down the steps.
Just finished a shower and bending down to wash my legs was a no-no.

So, it is a sunny warm day today before cold and rain and snow return.
I got everything neded to do the touchup paint work, including the paint, together by the front door
and this morning my body says, "Nope, I'm not going to allow you to do the right thing."
Dammit, why do I even try any more?
Caring gets me nowehre, so why even care abbout nice things my parents gave me?
Why even care about anything?
What good does it do?
What's the point?

Waking up realising that sleeping on the street wasn't probably the smartest idea. I have a house. Now I'm stuck like 2hrs away from home with no money. I'm such an idiot.

Hey there; speaking of ending up, the latter part of the day has been better than the first half.
I was able to get out for a bit and slap some touch-up paint on the gouge.
The job is rather cruder than I would have preferred, but hey, there is paint on the gouge before the cold and wet weather hits.
That's better than nothing.

Here's why I REALLY wanted to get some paint on that spot,
Quote:
Tuesday A chance of snow before 2pm, then a chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 42. East southeast wind 8 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Tuesday Night Rain, mainly after midnight. Low around 35. South wind 7 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Wednesday Rain, possibly mixed with snow, becoming all snow after 3pm. High near 46. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Wednesday Night A chance of snow before midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 21. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Thursday A chance of snow after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 32. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Thursday Night A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 22. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

New Year's Day A chance of snow before noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 35. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
