Continuing the convo on caffine, I spilled my tea by accident and I was cursing myself as I was drying it up. I told myself, "This tea was the only British thing that I had left to hold onto!" It's not really true. There are many more cups of tea for me to savour.

I've ended forking over all the money I had in my wallet on the special underpants that I need. All $110 of it. I'm glad I didn't spend all of my Christmas money.

Dad tested positive for covid. I tested negative but I think I may have it since I have cold symptoms and I didn't swab my nose very well. Still waiting for results on my mom and brother. At least no ones had any of the really bad symptoms yet.

I've found out yesterday that the premiere of my province will be cutting down the $300 surplus on our PWD deposits down to $ 150 a month. After April, the $150 will be taken away from us. What a cheap trick. Just when I think that January can't be more unbearable for me, than it already is. The very last frivolous thing that I order off Amazon will be a $50 blanket with a gingerbread house on it.

My mom and brother tested negative. His result surprised me since he briefly had a fever. My dad thinks he's in his second week and he has nothing but a mild cold so we're hopeful. We've been wearing masks and eating in different rooms. Everyone had a cold even though we mostly tested negative so my dad's symptoms may not have been covid at all.
