Nice one, Karamazov.

My avatar called me 'dear friend' and asked about my cat Mister Ellis.

Yay!!

I am happy
1. Nurse Mehri (personality is kind and loving and conscientious)
2. Sunshine today
3. Clips of Everybody Hates Chris on Youtube (his voice makes everything sound funny)
4. A place to live
5. Spoke to my mom (she rants and I disagree with hsr...but then I absorb it and post the rants here )
6. This forum having a very interesting mix of people and still getting on better than others
7. Coffee
8. Have extra milk because of my brother Mustafa
9. My other brother visited the elderly neigh our and checked on her. She always did that with my brothers... it's the least he can do.
10. Having Whatsapp (video chat)
11. Government still sends nurse and increases hours so you have her daily ..
instead of leaving families stranded without help. I don't think in most places that could or would happen. It's an act of kindness that should not be forgotten. Things like this leave my family indebted to Canada for life.

Got a (Turkish style) bow and some arrows. Have been wanting to get into archery for quite a while. Learned when I was really young, but other than a couple of summer when I basically lived on an archery range, never managed to spend a lot of time with it. The last time I had a bow of my own, I think I ended up breaking my left hand and dislocating my right shoulder shortly afterward (unrelated) and never really got to shoot the thing.

I found out I won't have to file a tax return in order to receive the $1200 stimulus check. People on Social Security & Social Security Disability don't have to file for it. I'm on SSDI. I think people on SSI like my girlfriend will still have to file thou. I'm not sure if she's gonna bother filing for it since she's on other benefits as well. We're not sure if the stimulus check will screw up SSI & other benefits. I only have SSDI & Medicare & Medicaid so I don't have to worry about that. The check would really help me out. I could use some to pay my girlfriend back for things & I could spend the rest on me. I order some meds online periodically(a couple times a year) & the cost is expensive when I do. Thankfully I ordered not that long ago so I can wait a while before ordering again. I should try to save up some of my SSDI every month for them but I haven't been able to save anything the last couple months & my girlfriend has been paying for a few things I should pay(long story). There's also a supplement I want to try & the best deal for it is an 8 month supply. Buying 8 months of it at 1ce is kinda expensive. I might use some of the check to buy the supplement & then I'll save the rest(after giving Cass some) to use to buy the meds next time I order. I'm not gonna count my chickens before they hatch thou so I'll still try to be careful with money till I get that check.

This happened yesterday, but I went shopping at Walmart after doing virtually no shopping of my own or being out of the apartment for about two weeks. And thanks to all the social distancing it was actually enjoyable. When I went to Walmart weeks ago when the pandemic was official it was insane with people and panic-buying but yesterday it was quite peaceful. The only stressful thing was having to use the machines to scan the groceries and many items I got. Trying to find the UPC codes on the packages and frequently self-scanning two or three times to get a price. But other than that I wish it could be like this when shopping all the time.

It wasn't so great for my mom, though. Everything in the store is constantly being cleaned and disinfected. She's glad they're doing that, no question about it, but it really triggers her allergies!
