Adapting to new situations like being on this site. I'm not complaining just struggling with being around people as i usually keep to myself.

I lost my father the day after I turned 12. He was 43 and had he managed to get through his treatments without any problems, he would be turning 62 this year on May 6th.

Remembering a time that I was so scared of myself that I pretended to be something else to distract myself. Imagine if I didn't play the part of the Cockney Rebel and I learned to accept myself at a much earlier age. I'm a child of the late 70s and 1980s. I was an adolescent from the age of 10 until the age of 19. That was in the 80s and the 90s. The world was a much scarier place, back than. Canada was different back than. We live in a much improved world now. I'd like to think that we do.
