Realizing I’m probably friendless again, think what friendships I did have have done the same vanishing act they always do, sooner or later. Hard not to think it’s something about me personally when it happens time and again. I know my particular challenges make me a pretty bad friend anyway (as is evidenced by the fact that I can’t even bring myself to initiate contact and either confirm the end of or try to revive things :oops: ). I’m not after more, it’s probably best for all concerned (including me) if I stay this way. I’m just plain not a social creature by nature, and it isn’t fair to me or anyone else to try to force myself to be, or try to have the same kinds of relationships that those who are have with each other. It just plain doesn’t work, and in the end only causes hurt.
