No worries! It would be my first official date too. I "dated" my first girlfriend but we never went out. So this will be very interesting!

In my case, I've had a date to the dance.
And a guy who had a crush on me also tried to ask me out on a date.

On an unrelated topic, I finished my homework so quickly today that I feel like I forgot to do something.

I have to write a paper about him, make a visual (model, poster, powerpoint, etc.), and do a presentation about him.

Ooooo! I love those types of projects. Like when I made a movie version of a novel we read in 6th grade. It impressed most of my class who did essays or power points. okay now I feel like a show off.

I'm fine with the essay, and I'll probably think of something for the visual, but the presentation... I'm not good at those.

I'm fine with public speaking exempt I'm known to become quiet at the end of my statement or mumble.

Lucky. I stutter, mumble, fiddle with things in my hands, don't look at the audience directly/eye contact (a teacher actually had to lecture all the Asian students in class about eye contact once... ), and I've cried on several occasions.
Yup.

Which reminds me... I have to prepare for the HOSA interview. I passed the test last time but not the... interview, and didn't get in.

Yea, it's funny since I'm into politics I've overcome my fear of public speaking but 1 on 1 I have trouble with eye contact and get nervous.

HOSA?

Ah. I see. I can do eye contact 1 on 1. But it's really awkward eye contact and I only do it when I'm fooling around; I can't do normal eye contact. I end up freaking the other person out if I do that during normal conversations.
