Driving made you happy?

decades ago it did, because i had an excellent driving car ['79 rabbit] and the roads weren't overcrowded with passive-aggressive brassholes who take all the joy out of driving.

I finished my tax return today. Hurray. So glad to get that off my back.

It is.

I raced that red Genesis again tonight and he still can't beat me. It's got a 3.8 V6 vs. my 1.8 I4, so he can beat me in a straight line but I'm back up his backside as soon as the road presents a few corners.

I'm about halfway to having enough skrill to buy an FR-S, hopefully I can do that before winter.

what did you think of it? mine had an amazing cushy ride over rough pavement yet still handled sporty, flat in corners and no dive or squat. i test drove an '80 diesel and was impressed with its acceleration which was good for the day. glad to hear you got your taxes outta the way for another year. :)

you're fortunate to live in an uncrowded place sans "anti-destination league" that allows that kinda spirited driving, out here in smogberry land is a schlerotic mass of passive/agressive slowpokin' magas [they ALL are slowpokes in my experience, the ones with the red stickers on their cars] who grow horns when you try to pass them up.
