Yep....it matters much more that you fit in with real people you hang out with than with some schmucks on the Internet.

Hello kraftiekortie, the campsite where I stayed last year is open for 5 months a year. It's on the edge of Dartmoor national park in Devon, UK.

I have such an inferiority complex. Other people see me as a poet and I see myself as unemployed and not allowed to work. Other people see me as having a sort of talent that they don't have so why do I see myself like that? And I can't say it online because online people are obsessed with pointing out humblebrags - especially NTs are obsessed with that. They don't seem to know how much it hurts to be accused of that when you have social anxiety.

Some complicated thoughts about time travel and what it would be like to live in another era.

Also some complicated private thoughts, which are convoluted, about the ex and some memories of same.

This old woman at the supermarket refused any help with her packing, did she not trust me or something? Or is it that she was one of those stubborn sorts? Some very disabled people hate to be helped because independence.

So many people I know can't work or are job seekers. So why do I have so much inferiority built up around it?

Goodbye to all the wildlife refuge areas and public land along the border....sorry to all the animals that will be killed and/or greatly disadvantaged by habitat loss, and to the people who have spent years maintaining these places and studying the ecosystems and wildlife in them.

Sorry it all has be destroyed for an ugly wall, when less invasive technology could be used to monitor the border. I wish something could be done but seems like all the key wilderness areas along the border are doomed. I haven't heard of any successful efforts to actually block wall construction in any of those places.

I really thought when I heard exceptions could be made for important wilderness areas that would at least protect some of those areas, but seems like the actual plans don't include any exceptions and important wildlife areas will be bulldozed no matter what.

Just can't quit feeling bummed out about it I guess. I know I know its just wild animals and their surrounding ecosystem nothing important...at least that is how a lot of people regard the natural world.

My older brother and stepfather are complete Trump fanboys. They think if you don't like him, you are a "liberal communist socialist".

My older brother smokes pot but he refuses to vote for the left even though it's the right that he loves so much that keep it illegal in Texas. My stepfather is a Vietnam veteran but he thinks pot is "brown people's drugs".

The parts about living beings needing to eat (a food web) and an implicit hierarchy thereof..'deconstructing' that heirarchy can demonstrate Buddhism's potential as philosophical anarchism.

Even Daoism's cultish-ness will be deconstructed: painting, Saturday morning.

[When type something here b/c you don't think you'll reach your irl diary in time].

Squirrel girl, Howard the duck and Gwenpool..

the way those characters have been 'treated' (given art treatment/style and characterization) in recent years. Trying to be 'gag' characters in an era of social media humour..it's a parallel to the 'PSA' like attitude of a 'kid friendly production like the 'Power pack' in the 80's.

Deadpool for that matter..I recently read the wikipedia plot summary for Avengers: end game

___

Marvel imo more so than DC has a longer history of involved efforts to make sure their comics 'match' to product tie-ins except that years ago before the MCU it was the cartoons and toy tie-ins of the 90's being catered to the offspring of Baby Boomers or Gen X'ers. Keep in mind, Marvel actually was bordering on bankruptcy sometime in the late 90's (the 'comic bust'(?)) of the late 90's might have something to do w/it as well) so that wasn't enough to keep it floating but now I think they have more than just 'sea legs'.

Thank you Stan Lee--I was one of those catered kids.

There's a pop-up asking me if I agree with Elon Musk that buying a manual-driving car now is like buying a horse in 1900. Well, the horse population peaked in 1915, which would have used up the working life of a horse.

Pity. The real reason for why I answered to the proselytizer like person was b/c of pity. he *needed* to have a conversation to do his job, a job which I can understand many finding touchy and annoying and expressing such sentiments in an unsubtle way. I on the other-hand, being an non-believer all the same, *can* express my sentiments in subtle ways and was open to speaking with the person b/c he didn't seem pushy in explaining what he did in a 'format'/delivery which reminds me of marketing dressed up as a lesson. I could have pushed the envelope and getting the person 'stumped' (mentioning Judaism seemed to be on track to doing that, but I didn't. I did even at the risk of 'funny looks' from ppl around me. Around us.

Does it make arguable implicit guilting (why don't you celebrate x holiday) right?. No. Did politely mentioning how I didn't feel like going listening b/c I was trying to pay a bill (then and there seriously was, for a bike sharing service) work?. Yes.

I once had a friend who told me how among Latter day saint adherents (like himself) going through the obligatory proselytizing phase is something adherents don't really enjoy it either; think finding it so dull that you make a video of faux-pas lightsaber fighting while at a warehouse or base of sorts in South America.

Thank you 'Mrs.V' for explaining how you 'tip your hat' to anyone who would bared doors getting slammed in their face while trying to bring attention to something so abstract, however 'the quality'. I'm not too sure that I could do that too often, good former religion teacher.
