Looking at my posts and realizing how much I like my avatar :D (It’s from the movie The Void, which I am currently obsessed with)

Air Conditioners is a great Special interest.

:D
i don't know if it's good to be as attached as he is.
my brother was like him when he was that age

he cries/bawls with sorrow if his favourite air conditioner unit (one of the neighbours' down the road) is turned off...

being a young and passionate autistic kid is tough. I remember when I was little i would get that sorrowful about my interests. I had so much love for my interests but they on occasion made me sad. Especially when they weren't around.

he bawls (screaming and crying and hitting his head on the ground)

daily anything related to someone's fan stopping, or not being able to stay outside for more hours (because I cant stand the heat and dont want him to get heat stroke eirher)

he puts off meals because he is too excited in talking about fans and how to fix fans (from the videos he's seen)
etc
repeats himself endlessly for hours, if left to his own devices, and expects people to repeat after him (if they dont he keeps repeating the same phrase until they do) ...
it's cute now but how difficult it will be if kids bully him for it, or he can't control it and disrupts the class, etc??

i hope to help him temper it by redirecting to other interests too and block out a specific time for AC's...
so he doesn't have to suffer so much

i dont remember myself being like that (or maybe not self-aware enough to notice i was doing it)

but i was more like my elder also Autistic boy..

who internalizes and is more 'take things as they come' but has other issues...

but he is the same about having to have the one thing repeated endlessly for hours at least..

and he's more isolated. just like i was, coming and going... floating...very bad at organizing his thoughts and the order in which to do things. just like me..
but more severe..

i feel like ASD's disabling/difficult aspects just get more severe over generations..

Hugs. It can be difficult. Your a good mom. You are supportive with your kids. That is a good thing.

My NT sister telling a hilarious story about a man who visited a Mexican food joint and bought two burritos with all the add-ons the joint had.

The cost of the two burritos with the add-ons? Close to $50!

Nurse Mehri

Drumstick ice cream

XH said he'll take them to the water park today so I don't have to - plus the heat will be less intense.

Yesterday: xH met us at water park n spent time .. After a while..Elder kept leading ke away all the way to his dad's car trying to indicate he wanted to go home
I askedXH to take him while I stayed with the funny one..
Funny one spent ages there+ playground .. There Were Pakistani Kids who were very kind to him and friendly..

They gave him a packet ofcookies.. Then crackers.. Later.. And said 'have fun' to him
But decided to stay V cute
I was happy bcuz it's been so long since I met a pak born person here and they've always been extra caring
Or i feel at ease due to the familiarity . so I feel like a normal person instead of an outsider

They were mainly girls.. Even Though they were young they all had perfect posture and looong thick shiny hair

I've never had hair that long.

Their dad was really nice too.
At one point he and XH spent a while in conversation like old buddies.. I dont know why all the nice people love XH. I guess he's half and half. Like today (nice half).

I'm only guessing, but I feel like you're likely an attractive woman even if your hair isn't quite as you wish it could be. I don't literally believe in souls, but regardless, you seem to have a gorgeous soul that shines through and good people should be able to notice it when they see you in person if I can see it through the internets.

lmao thanks but that's how any scrounger who doesn't work for a living can sound, out of the daily workplace and actual demands ..
that would occupy enough of their minds and emotions (reality-based) that fanciful, ideological musings would fly out.
just hope i find a way to be reality-based and not a scrounger.
although all the time spent here is a good chunk that could / should be devoted to that.
