Discombobulated was my state of mind two weeks ago. Now I'm beginning to recover from that.

Noise really drives me crazy. I got used to living outside and I'm having a hard time adjusting to indoor life.

People questioning the legitimacy of my service dog and making disparaging remarks because he got startled by another service dog coming up behind him  Yes, I know he shouldn't have done that (and we got him outside the moment he started barking), but he's still a dog, not a robot. The other service dog's person was very understanding, but other people were making comments like that.

He's typically very protective of me, because one of his trainers let his protectiveness go unchecked, and we just got him back a few hours ago after a few days of vacation, which probably didn't help any. This is something we're working on, but sudden encounters like that are hard to train for.
