Take lots of photos of you with your kitty, April.

You'll want them one day.

I hope he's comfortable and enjoying the sun.

I busted my mother telling opposite lies between my brother and my daughter, playing them against each other with me in the middle. What else is new? It's more proof that she's developing dementia on top of having cracked her head open on Friday, without receiving any medical treatment.

How do the rest of you cope with parents' senility?

For the past few days I've felt like I'm going to end up having a meltdown. It takes so much energy to hold myself together when something particularly stresses me out.

I'm really sorry to hear that you and your family are having to deal with that. :(

Yesterday I was reminded again how unimportant I am. There will be a farewell gathering, at which I'll have another opportunity to be reminded how unimportant I am, but I think I'll skip it. But the way the universe is treating me lately, they'll probably forget to invite me. Convenient, but also insulting.

Dealing with someone IRL whose attitude is "I assumed something incorrectly about you, that's your fault"

Oh, yes, and every tiny mistake or thing I wasn't told is obviously me being deliberately difficult

This person is a nurse.
