In that case, my energy virus is upgraded to feed on all forms of energy and draw energy from alternate dimensions. Any energy provides power to act against the event horizons and artificial mass.

Anything beyond an event horizon is essentially isolated from the universe. Relativistic shields are modulated in other dimensions (but not in this one) to allow for sensor operation.
