I hope so too...

And now I got less than 4 hours now.

The interview's done and was recorded.
And I looked ridiculous.

Sometimes I feel as though any time I've thought to have found someone "like me," it's just a case of me overstretching the smallest similarities to being more than what they actually are. Kinda like putting a round peg in an oval hole, or in some instances a square one with rounded corners.

I'm sure you did well, and maybe looked charming instead of ridiculous.

I'm just going to assume that my friendly acquaintances are my friends.

Quit wanting to appease people who are bigots.

And I passed the initial interview.

Federer and Nadal are in the Wimbledon semifinal tomorrow. I'm hoping for Rafael to win, since he hasn't done well at Wimbledon in the last few years.

Djokovic plays Bautista-Agut, who beat him twice, in the other semifinal.

Americans really don't understand what life is like here. I'm done explaining and I'm done asking them how to socialise.

Actual form of privilege I face - if Emma or Caoimhe said what I said to A, they'd be putting themselves in danger. Living in this country means I can get away with it. I'm only in danger from I and his lot back in my hometown. They're considered criminal.

What I found out today: homosexuality was basically legal and accepted until 1857 when straight men needed a scapegoat. It was essentially considered adultery only if someone slept with a man. Didn't matter whether it was wife or husband.

I'm not going to finish that drawing by tomorrow but it doesn't matter cos nobody looks at my stuff anyway.

I will not get the drawing done tonight. But it would be smart to spend the night cycling between projects. 10 mins reading and writing, 10 mins drawing, repeat ad infinitum.

Tomorrow wear my ROI jersey and joggers if it's bad weather and Celtic full kit if it's good weather. Tomorrow find and blast some traditional music. Tomorrow work on my drawing and work on that L shape thing and the balance thing.

We have 1 set of neighbours who love loud things and deserve noise and would appreciate my music, we have another set of neighbours who are always out. And to me, blast doesn't mean what it means to most people.

I feel so much like I felt when dad was trying to work out if I'd moved or not. I hate that kind of scrutiny.

I miss my son.
