Got up late this afternoon after a strange dream where I was in a fenced-in yard somewhere, confronting a strange skinny gray leafless tree whose branches were whipping me, and it could read my mind and communicate telepathically with me putting a harsh stage whisper in my mind. It had weird eyes on the ends of stalks just like some kinda insect, they stared beadily at me, and it had thin filaments that could dangle like corn silk or move with a malevolent purpose in lashing me. I thought about getting the chainsaw and no sooner than I thought of it that the nasty whisper said “THAT WILL BE THE LAST THING YOU THINK MUCH LESS DO!!” then I awoke. ??

Gosh!

An aggressive tree! Move over zombies! Move over vampires! Hollywood now has a whole new horror genre! Killer telepathic trees!

A few nights ago I dreamt that I was meeting people at a pristine corporate campus of somekind ( ultra modern white concrete and glass)for somekind of high pressure business meeting, but then the campus morphed into more like a traditional looking college campus (ivy on the walls, Georgian architecture, not anticeptic looking) and that I was living on ground floor dorm. More relaxed atmosphere.

For some reason among the décor on my bedroom wall was a collage I had made that included cut out pictures of Russell Crowe from magazines to make somekind of funny statement(. The the real Russell Crowe, who was part of this campus community as well and had volunteered to rake leaves, came to my window and called me by name, and asked me to remove my collage pic because "if folks see it it will hurt my career". I apologized and said that that thing has been on my wall so long that I forgot it was even there, and promised to take it down. Then I woke up.

the real Russell crowe is a raging abusive drunk ahole who would have torn you or anybody else short of god several new ones. I suppose I got the dream from watching "The Wizard of Oz" with its demonic forest and its wicked apple-throwing trees.

Dreamed that someone told me something regarding my health and how long I was going to live. I guess I'm preoccupied with that lately. I have had many family members who lived long lives (80s & 90s), but some who only made their 70s. I have been reading many stories lately about people on the spectrum living shorter lives. Fortunately, my health is good so far.

have you ever experimented by eating some spicy food and drink before sleeping, to see if that would be food for having dreams?

That won't really work on me. Horror movies and the like have never disturbed me even as a kid because I knew they were all fake, but real life stuff like the news might disturb me.

Sleeping bags.
Lots and lots and lots of puffy, warm sleeping bags.
It's cold here in November.

I was holding a plastic bag that contained a light bulb with mercury in it. The bulb broke inside the bag and then the bag broke with the contents landing on my face. I ran to a public bathroom and used the horrible smelling pink liquid soap to repeatedly wash my face hoping the mercury didn't seep through my skin.
