Was Countess Elizabeth Bathory really a sadistic and depraved serial killer who bathed in virgin blood or simply a victim of powerful men trying to steal her property and ruin her reputation?

Probably both. The blood bathing seems to have been a folklorish rumour at best, but the 300 odd mostly independent witnesses, her co-defendants who testified that they had been supplying her with girls aged 10-14 from rural villages and the piles of bodies found at her various estates would be a little harder to explain away. One servant offered up a list of her alleged victims, numbering 650, though her trial only recognized 80 as proven.

Well either way it certainly inspired some creative works of gothic horror fantasy. The idea of a mordibly vain woman bathing in the blood of innocent victims so she can be young and beautiful forever. Sounds like something a dark witchy vampire would do.

:skull: :queen: :skull:

And that song by Karleine is pretty awesome! 8)

Other than having too much time on my hands... Why not a bullet journal?
Fill it with something random yet doable, take it a bit more seriously, then see what I may end up with on top of trials an errors of what works for me.

That hun isn't too bad when he's sober. Typical.

KT is staying I think. :)

Celtic are above Sevco in the rankings because obviously.

Lol it's funny how much has changed in football since yesterday.

Today's picture:
I liked:
- The grass
- The background, try to have houses in the back of another picture
- The wood, glass, other materials.
- The sense of perspective
- Nearly everything was 3d.

To improve:
- Try not to rush the filling in, white bits are only 'fine' if they are intentionally white. School had a tiny point.
- Read anatomy book and figure out a way to make people look 3d.
- Make grey look grey and not like wannabe black (this is a case of getting new materials)

This is the first picture in ages I felt had to be made by an aspie or an experienced artist because of the amount of detail I put into it, I'm quite proud of that.

I'm also proud of this morning's sketch - it looked 3d! I need to remember that grey around colour looks 3d.
*
Tonight:
- Do crossword
- Get to page 50
- Do crossword again
- If it's before 23:30, work on making new picture.

1001 things that need to be done for the state audit this week. There are so many litty bitty things that need to be "just so."

I wonder what kind of things scientists would learn from analyzing my brain once I'm dead.

I think I have an online enemy (not here so I'm not trying to start any drama)… I'm enjoying winding him up...
*
Is it possible for a woman to be described as 'creepy'? I don't think I have ever heard it used for a cis woman. This is not me being misandrist and transphobic and saying cis women can't be, this is me wondering about if society ever labels cis women as such.
*
My auntie took a photo of a random fat bald guy and sent it to me and said 'I just saw John Hartson' - it's not him... Also even celebrities deserve privacy, I am very much against the practice of taking subtle photos of strangers in public...
*
I'm thinking about what a UFB I was as a kid, even in that town. I was pretty much stupid for it. Kept arguing with adults and not always the nicest adults. I still have offline enemies to this day... Would I do it again? Hmm. I'm still a UFB but I've mellowed.

Youth is full of fire and old age is full of subdued thoughts and anxiety over 'what if'. It should be the other way around

Tonight:
1 Watch match, do drawing during
2 Read til 11:30 or til on page 150
3 Do crossword

Yay Isabella! Our new Queen! :)

I'm not sure if that was a rhetorical question or if you were hoping for input, but I definitely know cis and trans / LGBTQ+ women who are creepy, and who have been described by me and others as creepy if not worse (e.g., scary, sociopathic, violent, etc). I know creepy men too, so I'm not saying that this term is gender specific. Creepiness seems to be an equal opportunity affliction.
