I have taken my daughter to a hallowen party and I've had to leave and come and sit in the car because I can't deal with the noise and lights in there. I'd like to watch her play with her friends.

Also there's a boy in there and he's clearly on the spectrum and I can't help watching him as he goes around, in the same space as the other kids but he may as well be a ghost to them. It makes me sad.

too much to do before we begin our big RV journey tomorrow, and I'm really nervous.

When one the neighbour's dog isn't barking, the other neighbour's dog is barking. And when he's not barking, the neighbour kid's playing loud music. And if he's not, somebody down the street is.
Sometimes I can't even get peace and quiet in my own home just exactly when I really need it.

I just realized I made a big mistake while writing this week's paper for my class!

However, I'll still turn it in. My professor knows how to get a good laugh out of the class
over the course of this term and the second half of the term begins today!

Got higher eye prescription.


And frustrated about not able to find a stable and reliable system for me sooner...
... Just like how I was not able to learn those damn lessons sooner...

But what's the use of moping about it? Better late than too late or never. And it's never too late for me.


Lastly... Nostalgia. I miss someone. Or rather, I missed those days.

Lots to do again

People wanting to exclude me only so they can maintain their discussions as "echo chambers".

Half sister's staying the night 'cause she had work in the neighboring city today and in this one tomorrow (she herself lives far.) That's fine; we'd agreed beforehand, but when she got here, I remembered that she always wants milk with her coffee and in her breakfast porridge, but I didn't have any since I only buy any if I'm planning to make some specific dish that needs it, and she got upset. And I just-!

I mean c'mon, I'm letting her stay over for free, again, let her use my stuff, end up washing her dishes and her sheets (the later with the laundry machine fortunately, but still), let her mess up my routine, which she has never been considerate of at all, and she dares to complain 'cause I forgot to buy milk!?

Maybe I should not let her come over next time... our lil sis lives right next to me, literally, so she could just go there. Lil sis wants her coffee with milk too, so I'm sure she'll have some.

By the way, last time I did have milk 'cause I planned my meals in a way that I'd be sure to have some, yet back then she bought more because it was the wrong kind! I'd understand if it hadn't been lactose free since she's lactose intolerant (we both are), but she just didn't want it because it wasn't zero fat. Ugh.

I miss my hamsters.

Have to get lab work done. I set an appointment at the place I usually go to but then found out they want me to go to a specific location instead, which is also kinda out of the way(taking the bus). Minor setback but still a bit annoying.

Having to answer an important phone call just as I attempted to start meditating.

Riding in our huge RV over mountainous terrain and being unable to resist the urge to watch the road the entire time (as if I have ANY control over it). I'm now in a tremendous amount of pain and exhaustion because I wouldn't go lie down during our 3 day trip. I may end up getting sick too.
