Catching a cold (probably and hopefully just that, since it's been going around my family and I am vaccinated for covid and the flu but I've gotten the test done and am in quarantine while waiting for the results).

I woke up feeling the need to get high. In the altitude sense. I walked up one of the highest hills in my area, it's actually an iron-age hill fort and I walked the ramparts. But first I was unhappy because walking up there I realised how much fitness I've lost in the last year (not so long ago I was able to run up it) and then when I got up there it was too foggy to get any sensation of height.

I was nostalgia tripping and looking up old classmates and teachers online. One of my old gym teachers died last year, age 38.

Also, my neighbour has his loud music on again, which I initially mistook for doors meing slammed shut in succession. You know, that kind of music.

I hate these housing sites so much! Why is it so hard to find actual apartments that AREN'T AirBNBs and Hotel Rooms (as in format) Every time I browse on another site and they use words like "booking" or "stay" I don't feel like I'm being taken seriously as an adult that wants to move.

I didnt get tested, but that's more due to the fact I'm pretty sure I have COVID now and that I don't want to expose anyone to it. And thank you, I'm sure I will. I'm very glad that I'm vaccinated since it's certainly not as bad as it could be.

*hugs* I hope you feel better soon HoH! Do you have double vaccinations or did you get a booster as well (just out of curiosity)? I'm freaking out about this potential incoming winter wave and wondering if I need to get a booster ASAP. :/
