To dream that you are standing at the edge of a cliff indicates that you have reached an increased level of understanding, new awareness, and a fresh point of view. You have reached a critical point in your life and cannot risk losing control. Alternatively, it suggests that you are pondering a life-altering decision.
To dream that you or someone rappels or descends a cliff suggests that you are going through a difficult time and are afraid yet alert to what is ahead for you. You feel confident that you are up for the challenge and to meet the expectations of others.

LOL!

Thanks for translating into American.

To babybird: the emotional tone seems to be that its about something you're eager to do it-even if its against better advice. Seems to be about risk-taking, testing boundries, busting loose- trying new things. Something along those lines.

i dreamt i was in this big auditorium with a swimming pool in the middle of it and green astroturf all around, and naked people were lounging around and swimming laps and such. there was a couple, man and woman, each wearing matching shiny aquamarine nylon track suits, with a rhyming set of 2-syllable names in german that i cannot now recall, giving a speech together, only what they were saying was drowned out by my incessant coughing and hacking, which pissed off all the people i was sitting with who were all on risers behind me. i remember being ashamed of my coughing and hacking but powerless to stop it.

Last night I had a weird nightmare. It wasn't really a complete dream though. I just remember that I woke up and I was still under the impressions of what I must have been dreaming, because for a few seconds I was sure that a bomb had just fallen close to my house, or at least someone had shot at me, because I could "feel" some kind of shockwave and see the windows bending into the room. After a few moments I realised that none of that had actually happened, but I was breathing fast for a few minutes and felt kind of strange. I went to sleep quickly again though. Haven't had anything like that in a few years.

I was alone in a few story office building staring out the window of the third floor lecture room set in a dusty town vacant of living movement. A bus that had turned the corner onto the street I was lateral to, made a frantic U turn and sped off. I looked into the direction it was speeding away from to see a thick tornado touching down and heading my way. There was nowhere to go as it was coming so fast. I dropped to the floor as it tore the building from the ground, and as I was being helplessly lifted into the air from my dropping point, a 2X4 went sailing through my chest. The whole turbulent scene faded into a gentle white and I woke up.

When a storm comes through I'm constantly checking the radar.people here take it lightly cause were in canada.if you extend tornado alley ,were in it.we've had more and more in the past 5 years.

Tornados
To see a tornado in your dream suggests that you are experiencing some extreme emotional outbursts and temper tantrums. Is there a situation or relationship in your life that may be potentially destructive? To dream that you are in a tornado means that you are feeling overwhelmed and out of control. Your plans will be filled with much complications and you will be met with a series of disappointments. To see several tornadoes in your dream represent people around you who are prone to violent outbursts and shifting mood swings. It may also symbolize a volatile situation or relationship.

For me i wouldn't read too much into the tornado thing,i e watched too many tornado shows on discovery/history ,I've been afraid of them for a long time.a hurricane i can handle and would like the experience (not a cat 4-5 next to the ocean) but a tornado is a different beast and come with out much warning.

I had an intense one last night,i wrote it down on paper to not forget(had trouble with this morning).il put it up soon,I'm watching a big hockey game and will do it between periods

Go Habs Go :D

I'm not sure how to answer. I feel helplessly trapped in a perpetual state of solitary confinement as I can't find anybody I can relate to and spend companionable time with in real life, nor someone I can even safely talk to about any of the things that matter to me... I haven't been able to for two years now, so it seems turbulent tension is rising inside me the longer I'm estranged from meaningful human interaction and it feels somewhat crushing at this point. Being around people, even familiar ones, doesn't make me feel any less all alone in the world.

The only meaningful relationships I could have require reconciliation that's not within my ability to initiate... perhaps it's my helplessness in processing the healing of those broken bonds. They're often on my mind even if buried by busyness. One such person was certainly on my mind last night.

As far as plans, I'm at a total loss of what to do now as everything I've done lately to improve my situation has fallen through. I was planning on going back to school so I can have options of employment that I can perform in, but I no longer feel so sure in my success or idea of major... Probably depression, and/or lack of warming encouragement.

I find what works for me when I am at loose ends is to just take a long long hard walk downtown and back. the exercise and fresh air seems to reset my brain somehow.

I would probably have to take a short train into Los Angeles to get my musician's blood inspired... though it hasn't been too far away from my mind a couple times since I've moved here to just go do so with some form of planned structure of where to walk in mind. It's only like $12 there and another back. Which, while I couldn't pay that daily, I could on occasion. Other than going into Los Angeles, I'm not entirely convinced that I'm not one of very few passionate musicians in my area, and therefore, live in a wasteland for inspiration of studying music... lest I find another figurative needle in a figurative facility for processing hay bales.

Thank you for the idea :)

I get them too in dreams from time to time, though, I've never before directly fell within ones rage, and it's one of very few dreams I've actually been killed in. I think I've wrote both the other two I've died in in this long thread too. One of my very few deal breakers in moving to a place is if they get tornados... at all, even if there's only been one in nearby history by fluke :|

Me and my family were visiting a wealthy arabic family.it was a hot and sandy place.i woke up to the blinds in the house being stolen (the aluminium type,i have collected a few in the past couple of days for scrap metal).i knew who stole them(though i didn't see him do it)but could not rat him out so every body blamed me.there was a verbal fight,i then took off and started to make my way towards the city,i made it to the busses/metros and at that point my teeth all feel out and i was almost choking on them(that happens a lot in my dreams).i met someone seemed to be my friend and he was part of the arabic family.we ended back at the family's "estate".me and the friend were discussing what happened and my options.
I was then standing on a 20ft sand dune not far from the house. i looked to the north (going north is kind of an all else fails backup plan in real life)and saw two snowy mountains side by side,i asked the friend witch one i should take ,either one or the path between them.he said one was steeper but shorter the other taller but not as steep and in between was easier and had steps to help with the walk.i chose the path in between and started on my journey.i get to the snow line and all i had on was summer wear and no shoes,i did have my wool socks on though.there was this sort of competition/fight i had to complete facing a bunch of wolf like creatures, maybe wolves, not sure.there was a crowd cheering around me,the wolves started coming towards me i looked around frantically to find a weapon and found two big screwdrivers on a tool shelf they were like a foot long and had big handles.i grabbed them and started to fight for my life.i was down to the last wolf and was beating it pretty bad.the friend came over and said you beat him and urged me to stop,it was not dead but pretty beat up.i pointed to the wolf with the screwdriver and said "i could make boots out of him right".the friend went into the crowd and whispered to someone who had a big bag in front of him,the man pulled out a pair of boots gave them to the friend and then he came over and gave them to me.i was relieved to not have to kill the wolf.i pat the wolf on the head and it hobbled away.

Thats when i woke up

The vision of the two mountains was very vivid with the clouds covering the tops and all.
If i could paint that would be the one to do.

Edit/addition:auntblabby,what do you mean by prego,i didn't understand last time you used it :)
