I confess, that I don't see what's so great about art. I have to write a paper on this work talking about how people don't know "how to look at art" and that "art breaks down our fragile world and we need to allow art to ravage us in order to understand and appreciate it."

I just think that oil on canvas is oil on canvas. Bah

What kind of self injuring? I used to punch, scratch and cut (Though not to bleed, I was good with just scratchs from my compact mirror)
Don't feel ashamed, it's like going on a diet. You may cheat every once in a while, but the important thing is to go back to your diet (or not self harming) with 100% of your energy

I slammed a closet door on my finger, causing a bruise. It's a miracle that I didn't break my finger.

The last time I self-injured myself was when I was 15 (I'm 28 now).
