Watching my dog play with his friend, my mom and I and Merlin (dog) will sometimes go visit a friend of my mom’s who also has a dog and let the dogs play together in her backyard (which is larger than ours).

And then now a nice thunderstorm (well after the play date, none of us got rained on).

After 5 years of uncertainty, my parents have finally been granted permenant residency in France. So they no longer have to worry about being kicked out of the country and having to start again in their 70s.

My church has started serving free "continental" breakfasts again -- coffee, tea, fruit, donuts, and other pastries.
